Finally had enough. took a long time to realise that its not fun playing this game. I don't enjoy playing the game anymore. I am not going to improve as a player and I am not going to continue to be cannon fodder for the best players anymore. I have played the game daily since summer of 2013 and I have tried my best to improve as a player by attending regular training session & watching you tube videos. Now I am off to play Tetris and relax and enjoy the game, something I have not been able to do. Good luck WOT. Hope you continue to attract new players & retain them, as for me I am gone to play games that you only pay for once and then enjoy a level playing field and have fun :).

Thank god you told us, you know how we'd worry otherwise.

Good luck finding a game that's pay once, always level playing field. Or at least one that's entertaining to play for more than a couple of weeks and has a decent-sized playerbase. Maybe CounterStrike, if you're into FPS and have the twitch reflexes of a child that's had far too much caffeine.

Also, as is traditional, 18,186. :honoring:

I agree, people who judge others without taking the tone or context of their post into account are the bane of this forum but what can you expect when thinking is a secondary concern for so many of them.

your first sentence pretty much gave away your tone and context

I direct you to OP's statement that he's off to play Tetris, which set the tone and is the context in which I replied. But thanks for proving my point. :great:

There's a huge selection out there, be sure to try a bit of everything.

For instance lately i've been caught up in old text based games out of all things, the graphics are absolutely amazing when they are all in your head.

Also they run in your browser and are free.

"A dark room" is a fantastic little game that instantly introduces you to this glorious experience, be sure to check it out if you get bored one day

Go play Ori and the blind forest. Currently on sale on steam. You can summon me a succubus if you don't enjoy it, but you will.

Tetris is unplayable nowadays, ever since they buffed the square bits.

I'm actually surprised they tell bad players to go play tetris because aligning those squares is the most difficult part of the game.

Tetris is a great game which I played with a monochrome display laptop.. but I\d be worried about how fast the blocks might fall when played on a modern PC.. I remember the FTL experience with Elite (vector graphics) when I installed it on my AT...

Seriously, no point grinding day in day out if it's not fun. I grind about an hour to 2 hours now, depending on my mood and what else I'm doing along the day/evening. Been less active at times, but in the game for a couple of years now. Take some time off, play some other games and have fun!. Unless you got premium time running you won't be missing out on much that wouldn't be here when you come back. If and when you come back, we will still (very likely) be here to welcome you back!

I want to grind less and less. Partially because I already got many tanks that I wanted, and partially because I already know that getting another tank is a very ephemerial reward because the game balance will be Edited no matter what new tank I play. Sure, it will put you on top of the list for the first few battles, but that nowadays feels like a mockery because most of your team-mates will be escapees from the suicide-watch ward of a nearby psychiatric hospital.

Sooo... you are basically quitting (or not) because there are better players?
Sorry for breaking your bubble then, but in that case you should quit playing multiplayergames all together. There will always be players who are better than you.

Good game. Would buy it if it wasn't for steam...

The soundtrack is quite nice, too, perfect for all kinds of creative endeavors.
