When are you going to do some simple investigation into who's problem it is?

It's easy to do.  Download pingplotter, point it at login.p1.worldoftanks.eu or login.p2.worldoftanks.eu , play a round or two (note if you have lags), save the trace as an image, post the image here.

Yes, the teleporting tank thing can be quite amazing at peak hours. But it keeps the game interesting.

You never know what will happen.

Will you make a crazy flip and land on your back suddenly? Will you peek out but end up traveling out with your entire tank and be shot in the side by 5 enemies? Will you drown because why not?

Follow next episode of EPIC LAG!

A less intoxicated company might have actually fixed its lag problems before giving out a few inconsequential gifts in recompense for its lag problems. Oh well, it's all part of the fun.

Peak hours and lag aren't peak just for WOT, they are the same peak hours when lots of people play other games, catch up on news, buy stuff, do homework, etc.

Lag free here.  There are tons of posts on lag and I've posted a bunch of replies on this issue.  There are plenty of things that can cause network issues and we can't point the finger at WG all of the time.  You have to diagnose your PC, your network and everything on it, as well as determine if your ISP is causing issues.  Once you clear all of these, you can start looking at WG.

If you'd like to give troubleshooting a shot, my notes are in the spoiler and I'm willing to assist.  If you'd rather not do anything besides wait on WG to fix the world's networks, good luck with things.

Spoiler

Homer_J and EltvilleTiger, how you will notice the problem if you don't even play?

Replying in every thread that there is no problem with the server because it does not happen with you is annoying.

WG has admitted the issue: https://worldoftanks...s/gift-loyalty/

You do realise that there's a lag in some stats sites, which is slightly ironic.

According to Noobmeter, Homer's last game for them was yesterday at 11.18am, and for Elteville he's actually playing now, with games over the past two days.

Lag, jitters and freezes here as well. Nothing wrong with my computer, router, ISP. The problem is on WG side and is more evident on EU2 server in past couple of days.

The question posed by OP is legitimate and should be answered by trolls WG staff.

I play games and I've been playing for 6 years with around 18k under my belt.  If that isn't enough, I don't know what you expect or want.

Total Past 24 Hours Past 7 days Past 30 days 60 days • 1000 Battles
18082 14 106 370 776

I've never said "there is no problem" and I always acknowledge that the report of "lag" is valid but we must understand that there are many things that affect our WoT experience... I just said that you need to ensure that your stuff is running correctly and that you post some proof to WG which is a good Ping Plotter result.  Just post the PP image!   WG will "continue to monitor" the situation and they can do that way better if the community provide them with proof such as a PP graph.  There are soooo many differences between everyone's computers and connections to the internet as well as the path taken to get to WG's servers that there is no way that every time someone reports "lag", it affects everyone else without a doubt.  Clear that doubt up by posting the Ping Plotter results.  They can't ignore the data and the data may provide them with more insight.  Give them nothing but "I can't play" forum messages, and there is very little to go on.  At least submit a ticket to WG as that is the official support method for them... just don't come in here and say someone isn't "good enough" for you.

WG has admitted the issue: https://worldoftanks...s/gift-loyalty/

I played about 18 battles yesterday with a quite terrible win rate but no lag.

WG admitted there had been a problem, I took this to mean the major problems resulting in server crashes a few weeks ago.

You can't take every little issue every player has and assume it has the same cause.  Doing what I asked for takes no more time than writing the completely pointless post he made here and might actually point at something he can fix.

Butting in with "it's WG's fault" in every thread serves no purpose at all and in many cases is actually most unhelpful.
