which one you guys think is better based on your experience is it coated optics or improved ventilation
is the extra view range is good for the tank or not worth it (for t26e4) ?

Humm tough one, I usually go Vstab,Optics,Rammer on most meds but the Super p is pretty slow and is a brawler so personally I would go with vents but in the end only you can decide what's best for your playstyle.

The SP desperately needs mobility (and gun handling). Here is my setup:

I have tried both with Optics and Vents, and I found Vents to be much more comfortable. Also note I am using 105 octane, which IMO works better than food on SP as it provides a ~significant mobility boost. Downside is that it is expensive... And yes, I have tried all setups for more than a few battles.

Also I have been at a stabile 100% MoE for many battles now.

Ventilation improves everything a little bit, so I usually go for that.

Why not both?

All my medium vehicles are "working" with this setup:

Gun Rammer

Coated Optics

Improved Ventilation

I would say Vents. You aren't really a medium who needs to spot for itself, and you'll get a small VR buff from the vents.

Vstabs is very important, as important as rammer imo.

At tier8 you can't expect your team to spot for you, and if you spot more than you get more xp/creds as well. As tier8 means lots of tier9s right now that a bit less relevant but still the ability to outspot your opponents is pretty huge imo.

With the more enclosed map meta on a slower tank? Perhaps, but Vents and Crew Skills can make up for a lot of it while gaining benefits elsewhere.

I completely agree with your premise but a SuperP could go either way tbh.

The WoT clients compare function can comapre different setups of the same vehicle, which makes it "aesy" to find your prefered setup.

For me the order of categories for SP is:

  1. firepower
  2. spotting
  3. consealment
  4. mobility

Yeah.  Dead slow tank, firing on the move less of an issue.  It moves so slow you may as well stop and sit and have a look around.

Ventilation. Super Pershing is too slow to spot.

Ventilation will improve your speed and that's the best thing you can do for the pile of crap called Super P.

i found out if you want to make credit or to play better  in open area maps or at the end of the game where situations you are fighting alone coated optics is better combined with situational awareness
