Hello tankers, and especially hello cobra 6 as I remember you were really looking forward to this tank.

Well it's back on supertest.

As a food for tier Xs.

Aka. As a tier 8

10/10 decision WG

Why exactly would it suck?

The only thing I don't get is why Wargaming insists on giving the US Tier VIII light tanks 150 average damage for (some) 76 mm guns whereas the Tier VIII French 12t gets 170 average damage.

Why would it suck? I guess for the same reason every tier 8 tank in game sucks. Tier 8 matchmaking is broken.

Looks alright to me at the moment.

Now lets wait for it to be overbuffed before release so that all tier 8 light tanks are obsolete in comparison

Yeah with the current stats it's quite crap, it was awesome with the old ones as a tier 7 though. Shame, in this current form:

Not touching a tier 8 with 175pen. not with that HP/t.  0.38 accuracy? again no thanks. crap alpha... no armor...check.. yup.

aaaand they ruined it. i dont care for it anymore. they shove it up a tier than ruin it, typical WG balance.

Same stats as the M41 Bulldog, but the auto-loader gets 0.40 accuracy.

Just in their infinite wisdowm Wargaming decided to give the the 76 mm M32 / M32 Late single shot 170 average damage, but the 76 mm T91E5 auto-loading gun 'only' 150 average. Both French 75 mm auto-loading guns on the Tier VIII Bat 12t get 170 average. Similar funny stuff going on between the LTTB and WZ-132 as both Tier VIII light tanks get a Tier VIII 85 mm gun but LTTB gets 180 average and WZ gets 200 average damage.

I dident like bulldog single clip. making a smaller wider version with a centered gun. i expect something in return for the gerbage pen/alpha. i want good dispersion/accuracy at least. it aint got armor or amazing mobility (WG love ruining mobility for prem LT's).

Or maybe i should just throw my money at free food for defenders. nah.ill just not buy the tank.

Well I can't say anything about the T92 as the soft stats are missing, but even with 0.38/0.40 accuracy the M41 performed quite well firing on the move and snap shotting. Just don't expect to snipe cupolas with at at 400 meters. That was the Tier VII however, as I haven't bothered with the Tier VIII since Wargaming decided to butcher the auto-loader for it (~1.100 DPM while the T71 gets 1.800 and the Bat 12 gets ~1.570; makes perfect sense Wargaming).

Eh, I'll probably buy it anyway because of a severe lack of US light trainers.

And no, please don't mention the Clown Car, the M22, and the T2 light. <.<

Power to weight is a tad low for my liking. And the gun? The M41 Bulldog has the same gun with 50 more DPM. So with rammer, vents, BIA and food. The DPM is still in the 2430 area. Even with the low alpha, I suspect it will still bully well enough. But it's not final I suspect. So who knows.

A premium AMERICAN Light Tank? At Tier VIII? With low stature?

I'm in... :3

A short while ago there was quite a lot of noise about WG releasing OP premium tanks. Now they're releasing one that doesn't look to be OP at all and all I see are complaints about how it would have been so much better as an OP tank a tier lower. Can someone please clarify how the collective is supposed to feel about this?

Confused? I'm pretty sure WG is going to be with how mixed signals this so termed consensus (now there's a joke) is sending them..

Make LT great again, OPness and wallets go together hand in hand.

The selective perception is strong in many of the collective.

From WG point of view, perfect timing.

From my point of view, a prem US LT8 seems very attractive. I suppose to become available for Chrismas calender 2017.

50% of people will complain anyway, if the tank is OP or not. WG knows this, so they don't care what the collective says.

I don't want it to be OP, it of course would be at tier 7. I want it to be nerfed and put in tier 7. Since 9.18 tier 8 is unplayable. I don't even care about stats, I'd buy it just because it's a T92 LT. But not as a tier 8, not until they fix MM.

Well wg stronk logic strikes again. It might have been a bit too strong for T7 but all they needed to do was add some hp and voala they would have a nice T8 light. Instead, in their infinite wisdom they decided it is good idea to both move it up a tier and nerf it at the same time...

WG seriously cant take middle ground, like ever. They either overnerf everything they touch or overbuff it or in rare instances the buff/nerf is so insignificant that it cant even be taken into consirderation. During the 6 years +- I have been playing this game (with some breaks) I have probably never seen them get it even remotely right on the first try.

People arent complaining beause its not OP. they complain because its not competative and sadly competative in todays meta is its gotta be OP to BE competative.

the old stats it had before was fine. it needed them to be even worth selling. people wont part with cash to buy a trash vehicle (unless they are collectors).

You think people bought Defender because it was balanced and a good audition to the game? no. they got it because its stupidly OP and to stay competative.
