I just watched Quickybabys review of the Nameless heavytank, that is currently out on the asian server.
Looking at the stats I tend to agree with QB that the Nameless is shamelessly overpowered, but thats just one  problem.

I thought that this game was about tanks from just before WW2, during WW2, and just after WW2, not fantasy tanks from other games and anime series. I do know that many of the tanks in the game are prototypes or fantasy tanks, but at least you can put them into a real world contekst.
Alot of WOTs playerbase don't enjoy manga and anime, personaly I hate anime furiously and to me WOT is game about real world tanks, experimental or not.

I also think that including anime tanks in WOT, is a bit like *Edited a period in history were millions died horribly, so far i think that WOT has been a entry way for people to learn about tanks from the second world war, and thereby about the war itself, and that validates the game for me. Including pure fantasy tanks of any genre be it anime or not, completely screws with that.

So in conclusion the Nameless is objectively OP, its a pure fantasy tank from another game, and in my oppinion its downright insulting, insulting to our intelligence and the thousands of tankers who died on the battlefields around the world.

What do you guys think?

Should Wargaming release the Nameless on the EU server?

A third thread on this was needed why? SEA exclusive that should not be released here and thankfully there is no reason to believe it will be released here.

I like anime and still would not want to see anime tanks in WoT.

The game they come from is quite good, but I would agree that they have absolutely no place here.

btw: Most people who claim that they hate anime don't even know what it really is. They see the utter kiddy *Edited that dominates the genre these days and get turned off immediately. But if you dig a bit deeper, you'll find out that there is more to it...

I realize that WG has a need to stretch the limits of "reality", in order to keep this game innovative and fresh, but I seriously believe that the introduction of anime tanks will be a nail in the coffin.

Well.

It is an overpowered beast beyond imagination.

WG could just as well release a Maus with its current stats and 1500 hp as a T8 premium tanks.  That would also be pretty fun to play.

Or an object 140 as a T8 premium medium tank. Also pretty fun.

And this is why you need more than a few nails for WoT's coffin...

I wouldn't mind seeing Tanks related to Girls und Panzer as those are Tanks which actually exist already in the game already (Pz 4, Tiger P, B1 ect) but only if they included the same feature they did with the ARP ships in WoWs, that is to enable other players to turn off seeing the special skins.

However the Valkyria Chronicles tanks are a different matter. Firstly I do like the game they come from but unlike GuP these tanks are not based on anything from reality so I am not sure they have a place in the main part of this game. I will admit the Nameless actually looked pretty cool in QBs video, perhaps if they really wanted to bring it into WoT outside of SEA then perhaps as part of a special "fun" game mode but not in the main game.

Then we have the big issue it would be game breaking in it's current state, it has no weaknesses, no short comings, it is more OP than the Chrysler GF, Defender and Patriot put together. Tier 8 battles would become even more of a nightmare than they are now, plus you can't train crews in it so there is one of the big reasons to buy a premium tank out the window.

I don't care if it is anime tank or not. WoT has a lot of tanks that were *Edited anyway.

The problem is - with stats I have seen from reviews - this tank, in the way it was implemented on ASIA server is OP beyond belief. Basically - another absurd tier 8 premium - It is OPject 252 and Chrysler all over again. We have enough of those already and do not need more overpowered tanks implemented to this game.

I watched QBs video now. You really done goofed as Wargaming when QB is critizising you so balantly that you dont even need another translator to translate QB language to English.

Now my thoughts:

I sincerely hope that this tank will NEVER make it to the NA, EU and RU servers. It just does not fit. Why do we need this weeb stuff? Some might like it but the majority wont.

One thing we can clearly see, and these new premiums are just more evidence, that Wargaming DOES NOT use balance for balancing the game but for monetisation instead. They DO NOT care about balance. Changing tanks characteristics is soloe done to increase revenue and not to make the gameplay as fair and fun as one could imagine.
