My laptop seems to be giving up. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a good laptop for running WOT? Nothing too expensive but something that isn't going to struggle if I increase the graphics above minimum which I currently have to settle with.

My suggestion is, don't get a laptop if you intend to play games (unless you spend most of your time on the go, then a laptop is the only option). If you really must have an laptop then get anything with an i5 and nvidia graphics. Just remember that the words gaming, laptop and "not expensive" do not really go well together.

I highly recommend ebuyer.com as its where I got my HP Pavilion 15 Gaming laptop from some main specs:

Intel i5 6300hq 2.3ghz (3.2 in "turbo mode")

GTX 950M 4gb graphic card

2 TB hard drive space

Runs wot in HD client on highest settings, though i prefer to use SD client on medium settings for more fps.

Edit: Though i dont play many games it also runs GTA V or Payday 2 without problems

This is a very important question when recommending gaming laptops. "Nothing too expensive" for someone might be under 1000 (in this category you pretty much just want to find something with an Nvidia GTX graphics card), for some it might be around 2000 (this is where you can start to try and find something with current gen graphics, GTX 1060 or even a 1070 if you find a good deal).

Think a HP EliteBook 8470p or better should be able to run it.

Second hand (refurbished) they should be going for around €300-350 or so, and come with an i5 processor at around 2.8-2.9Ghz along with 4GiB of RAM.

Think it should be capable of running WoT at medium settings or better.

There are mini ITX cases that are almost portable size wise. Not exactly to play in lets say, train, but enough to get decent gaming rig into backpack and plug it into grandpa TV.
