i've been playing the emil 1 and i usually do about 2500 damage and 1000 assist gbut i feel like i'm almost on the verge of losing credits after every battle. do you think i'll be able to aoid losing too much credits with an emil 2?

I really don't believe you "usually do" 2,5k + 1k. You average 863 damage. You die twice for every enemy you destroy. That is a recipe on losing credits.

Emil II is a tier higher.

So no, you will lose even more credits.

He has the Emil I and does about 900 average damage.
And yes, you will probably lose more credits. In general, the higher tier you go, the more expensive it gets.

You will lose loads of credits at higher tiers as long as you are at your current skill level.

Read the tankers handbook, google it. Watch youtube videos on how to play the tanks. Watch streamers. Learn to play and you will start making loads of credits :)

its rather unlikely you got such a steep increase in your performance recently

dare to post several of such replays ?

otherwise just calc it for yourself

wasnt T8 tanks about 16-18k repairs

T9 should be about 21k

emil 1 got shellcosts of 670 for the emil 2 its 1k +

do you use premium consumables ? what about premium ammo ? i would guess you run premium account otherwise i cant really belive you wouldnt loose crds on playing them

if i had to make a crude guess i would expect an eimil 2 match to be on average 7k crds more expensive than a Emil 1 match

thought emil games with 2,5k damage+ 1k spot should earn you at least 16k crds even if destroyed and not running premium account

The higher the tier, the more you need to contribute to not break the bank. On tier 8 is not that hard. But at tier 9 and X, doing you own HP in damage is not enough to break even. And if you get wrecked, it will push the repair even higher then on a tier 8. Then again it also depends on how many rounds you actually do damage with. And how many consumables you use. As a missed shot or a bounce, is a loss of income either way. So the less you miss, the more you spot, the more shells that do damage, the less damage you take. The better the profit... or.. the less you will lose.  Don't matter how bad or well you did in the tier 8. Income penalty is bigger one tier up on tier 8 to X. Thus you need to step your game even more then at tier 8.

Quadposting is strong with OP.

Also, as others have said: You do really poorly in Emil I already, so if you barely hit even with that you WILL start losing credits with Emil II unless you significantly improve your gameplay and damage output. Going from tier 8 to 9 the number of players who can gain positive credit income anymore gets significantly smaller.

I have average damage of 2,3-2,4k dmg with Emil 1 and make plenty credits. Also I make credits with Kranvagn. Can't remember how it was with Emil II, but I suppose it wasn't really that different.

Higher tiers are not very "suitable" to earn enough credits.

Expensive repair costs + ammo do the job to "sink" your credits currency.

That's why you must play with lower tier tanks if you want to stay "active" at higher tier battles.

WoT's economy...

if your good enough there is no need to for farm tanks at all   if i got a premium account active i earn crds while playing t10 tanks 8ok probably not when playing 183 and there is still plenty of room to play better than me

I find every tier 9 tank with around ~250mm or more pen makes credits... ST-I, T-10 and waffle IV for sure. It helps to have 440 or higher alpha, of course. And with premium account, naturally.

Sure, there are some games where I shoot premium and lose credits, but on overall I make some credits.

You don't.

Why the hell do you talk that kind of nonsense when you (and everybody else) can check your playerstats to see how much average damage you really do?

btw: It's 800something. If you'd "usually do" 2500, it would be much more.

That said, you'll of course lose even more money if you start playing tanks that are even more above your current skilllevel.

edit: Forum only loaded the first comment when I posted... :/

On that level of performance no, also the Emil II/Kranvagn penetration coupled with their gun handling makes them quite unreliable.

252 APCR is more like 242 AP penetration and you only have to see the amount of Maus, E75s, E100s spamming premium to see how reliable that is in the current meta.

hmm 2.5k damage + 1k assists on t8 is an unicum level.. if it is true.. if so you shouldnt worry about loosing creds.

on the other hand emil 1 and emil 2 situation is quite unique. I really hated emil 1 bc of lack of mobility (damn atleast several times per battle i was checking is my engine ok and isnt my driver dead....), bad gun handling and poor regular ammo pen.. i ended this horrible grind using only full gold clips.. damn i didnt do this even on stock t54e1... so i was worried about emil 2 but desided to buy it. And it was one of the best surprises in wot for me. Emil 2 feels so much better. Better much better mobility also normal pen with normal damage. So atleast for me emil 2 brings creds income (u need gold ammo only for those retarted type's) while playing emil 1 i ussually was loosing them.

Well, without Premium account, all your credits will go to repair costs and ammo.

Unless, you are lucky and your tank survived the battle...
