Is the visibility of female posters. Now I have been posting on here for about a year and a half and I cannot recall a single instance when I saw a post indicating that it is a girl. Yet on the RU forum that I read avidly, although do not engage, explicitly female posts are a frequent occurrence and, strange as it may seem, extremely rarely subjected to even jokingly chauvinistic replies. Why do you think this is so? The answer could be very simple and not what you think. Have you come up with your version? Now scroll down for my answer :)

It is because in the Russian language there are gender endings for verbs and adjectives, so unless a poster is deliberately trying to conceal her femininity, people will know quickly which posters are women. So all are accordingly used to explicitly cross-gender discussion on the game issues. We, on the other hand, have no clue due to the nature of the English language, and our conversations on here all too often rely on the false assumption that it is all "between lads". But ladies are among us, I am sure of that! :)

Check, for example, Jacqueline_WOT on twitch.

There are many other super unicums.

Twitch>Browse>WoT>scroll till you find a russian chick horrible at tanks but the opposite in some other areas>Instagram>???

I happen to know a few female tankers, I remember some from the forum back in the old days but in general they seem to be a minority.

Gender isn't relevant for playing tanks. Nor is my diet, my sexual orientation, how much I make per year, my toilet paper consumption or what my favourite kind of beer is*.

Most of you seem to be missing the point already.

And people are surprised why I rarely bother with serious posts :)

If you looking for bride/wife you can try other forums or sites.

I don't see what a player's sex has to do with the game, but if you're interested in how many players of each sex there are you could always start a poll, that way you would be sure to find out.

True, but in Russian it's also easy to say something without using gender endings.

I might or might not have just learned something from qpranger. Not sure yet, but my logic and reason tells me that I must still be sleeping.

It's annoying as hell when some, I repeat SOME, far from all, female players keep repeating and insinuating that they are a girl as if anyone gives a [edited]man... You're just asking for horny 12 year olds to spam you PM's.

Edit: Now that I think about it, those are probably guys faking being girls to...Oh my...

I just automatically assume everyone who has a girl avatar or signature is a girl.

I also automatically assume that anyone who has an animal in their avatar, really is that animal.

Yes, I'm a jolly terrorist irl.

My sexual orientation is not known.  yet, many players appear to think I am a homosexual.

My educational level is not known.  Yet, many players assume I struggle to pull my trousers up by myself.

My gender is not known.  Yet, should I challenge of the above I will be treated like a woman from the 1950's.

Seems to me knowing what a person is really.  Is a pointless exercise; as people will simply impose their opinion upon you anyway.

It's like you qp.  You made this sensible, considered post in strict opposition to normal dross you offer.  Now, I have to stop thinking of you as a low brow forum troll.  No doubt this particular aberration will be lost amongst your normal flood of banality and trollishness.
