"Arctic Region" map Glass wall Sector C7

There  is "Glass wall" in sector C7 TD's position.  So many shots wasted because it looks like there is no obstacles but when Iam take a shot Bang -  ground again and again.  Those rocks has invisible wall what saves enemy tanks from my fire. 

 

 

 

Yes maybe stupid topic but anyone else noticed this?  Sometimes even 10 shots goes in that invisible wall and it leaves huge impact of battle outcome!

I'm guessing this is another case of playing on low graphics settings where the rendered terrain does not match the physics terrain

Yes I have to chose between "Stone age" FPS (slideshow) and medium settings   or   Max Potato graphics with 50-59 FPS. I chose max game performance over graphics. This game isn't about graphics its about strategy and reaction. Of cousre HD client is sexy its new level of realism. But its to much for my potato laptop at least I play this game with mouse not touch pad lol:teethhappy: Cant wait till I get back my beast PC :izmena:

Just crappy modelled hitboxes by Wargaming yet again, their maps are riddled with shoddy modelling work like this, always have been.

 

It also happens on vehicles frequently with some of the more famous examples:

- sudden 0 armour hitbox on the T62A turret.

- 0 armour hitbox in the E-75 over the tracks causing it to take full arty splash damage.

- Moved hitboxes in arty making them invulnerable to enemy fire.

 

These kind of dumb mistakes can happen with indy games but a triple AAA studio like Wargaming letting this slide is beyond pathetic.

Why I need replay? One Gentlemen explained everything. First battle in that map minimum 10 failed shots from that possiotion. Second battle in that position 6 ruined shots - enough Iam going to forum thats it! Set lowest settings and go to that possition.

2 or 3 shots I could understand but why take 16 shots into the same area when you knew there was an obstruction in the way?

There is such a "glass wall" on K5 in Windstorm too if you manage to climb up there, you notice it if you try to shoot towards 1-4 line areas.

Because its looks like 100% safe. And its not even close to visible rocks(ground) I was supprised about that.

 

But ok I'am playing on lowest settings what can I expect.

Never use minimum terrain quality. All the rest can be on min, but terrain quality should always be as high as possible. Doesn't affect fps a whole lot either.
