Here you can see one example of many of a player with much Higher win rate in this tank but clearly not playing it on the same level as i am

or maybe i am the only player on world of tanks who has a legitimate claim for saying they are put on a bad team way to often. because i have no idea what i can do to improve on that 51%

Maybe. But his WN8 is still higher then yours. And we nor you know if that other VK was as his first tier 6 medium, and not played it for ages to improve it since. Or if he just recently bought it back to improve it. Nor do we know if that VK was one of his recent purchases. I mean my VK 30.01P has a higher WR then yours, but half the average damage. Since that was my first tier 6, and I've not played it for 50K games. But been thinking about getting it back to improve it, and ace it. As I did not do at the time. He could have done the same thing. We don't know. So not really a good comparison is it?

It's a very good tank, played it before the buff and got a healthy 65% in it before moving on to tigerpee.

I notice one big difference tho. I have 2,69 destruction ratio in it.

I think you need to shoot more tanks, simple as that.

And maybe you play it a bit aggressively a bit too early in the game. It's a great ambusher late game assisted by weakened tanks with bigger guns, and you need to take a few for your team more often than not to secure them wins.

Or maybe you are just another MoE obsessed damage farmer.

There is more to winning than just damage output, although that is significant. There is also map reading, positioning and timing. For example, you'd probably win more if you were more prone to going back to defend your base once you've won your flank than going forward to try and cap theirs.

Because you do the damage at the wrong time/place?

Here's a idea for you OP: Go back to some of these games and ask yourself did I do the right thing here to win, as opposed to just try to farm damage?

From that win % you may not have.

Considering you have several other tanks there with a high number of battles and only a 50-51% WR it suggests you play quite passively to me.

Personally i found it a rewarding tank to play selfishly. But yes, even if you are a selfish player you may want to be in a position overwatching the cap route once a flank falls. On range this thing can keep things detracked for ages and farm even more damage.

It has bad camo, unreliable armor but a decent gun, and on range it picks down targets quite comfortably. See it as situational flanker/ambusher that starts out as support, it works great for that. Initial forward positions not so much unless top tier.

Good armor but trollish gun. I went brawling with the enemy MTs. Its a beast top tier and solid gold PEN makes it usable as a support MT when bottom tier. Really liked it and kept it in the garage. Will go back to it once I finish the line. Very fun tank!

well said. But i also think that in some cases you could be just too confident in a tank which makes you play just a little too aggressive. You might be doing everything 'right' but no support of whatkind can hurt your wr. Sometimes you just assume, because it's pure logic, that there is someone to help you out, but let's say that;s not an exact representation of the present environment we are forced to play in.

Not to quote QB or anything but despite the fact i'm not a huge fan of his gameplay, but he does try to play with his team as much as he can and that's why he's a good player which shows the importance of playing to your team strenghts/weaknesses regardless how do you personally perform in a certain tank.

Good be just bad luck, despite you actively engaging in battles and being on the frontlines. Don't stress over the statistics too much.

If you deserved more than 51% wr you would have more than 51%wr.

Low avg assist and low avg spot - kinda looks like playing for dmg, not win.

Kills contribute more to wins than just dmg.

More kills means better chance of winning.

dmg only contributes to possible wins.

Tank is actually slightly overpowered at the Tier 6. I have 66% W/R based on an Average Damage of 857. You must not be using the amazing mobility correctly man, this thing can really carry, even at T7, if you are smart.

Well, his play style seems to influence his matches more than your play style influence yours, hence the higher win rate.

Given that you are surviving much more battles (your 35% vs his 22%) but still can't win as much even though you could influence your matches more (can't do much when being dead) I think I can agree that he doesn't play at your level.

I myself get survival rates of about 35% only with artillery, maybe you should think a bit about where to position your tank.

High damage and low wins says base camper to me, farming damage when the enemy have finished off the rest of the team.
