Yeah I would agree it has a beast gun for its tier but that and the gun depression are only thing it has, and grinding to its top gun is a pain.

IMO It is much better tier for tier then the Nashorn and the toaster but the Rhm is where it starts getting good.

Have it on my NA account and used free xp to get the top gun after 30battles cause it's unplayable stock.

For a Tier 6, it's basically the same tank. Let's not forget St. Emil is a Tier 7, so the gun has to be slightly better.

But your argument was that it was basically the same tank but a tier lower. And that gun isn't "slightly" better. It is an invredibly good gun

Well good for you, someone has to. I think a lot of 'this tank is ace, this tank is Edited is actually down to whether the tank suites your preferred play-style or not. For me, S-Emil was Edited  because the wonderful depression and gun didn't make up for it being agonizingly slow with no armour.

I liked st emil after getting the top gun. Admitted that I used gold to free exp it, which was the second time ever I convert exp with gold.

Basically if you got a good gun and some nice way of pointing it at enemies, the tank is gonna be good, but st emil's gun made it a real wild thing imo. :)

I played it at the same time I started the swedish mediums, so I guess the gameplay sort of supported each other, too. Got a couple aces in it, since people seem to have a hard time scoring more than 5 hits with it per game.

One of the worst stock grinds on tier 7. But at the same time, one of the best elite TD's on tier 7.

Yes. Don't see your point though.

"If you deliberately gimp your tank and make it worse you have a tank that is worse than if you don't." What an incredible surprise! Most tanks are worse with the stock gun than with their top gun, that doesn't make the sturer basically the same tank as the dmax.

Yep, been there. In the end I started using premium rounds as a few thousand XP away from the 12.8 cm MM kept throwing me into games with Tier IX E-75's, ST-I's, etc. Impossible to penetrate unless side on. And flanking, well...
