You know a time 13 month ago when there was a company explaining that they would right their wrongs and fix issues with the game? What happened to that PR maneuver? Is it dead in it's tracks? Seems like it did not roll out to me. You said that you were working for 12 month already and that was in early May of 2016. So what can we expect to see in the close future? When will the big changes your PR department announced make it onto the battlefield? I mean they must be tested pretty well by now.

Balance 2.0 is so 2016....they are already planning on announcing balance 3.0 then dropping it shortly after.

oh we are @ balancing 3.0 already. So I need to up my PR game. And I thought that it would be introduced right after Havoc.

Balance 2.0??? I guess that's all those t8 premium tanks as well as the Type 5 and Maus.

Did you miss the Sandbox testing?

 

They tested various things, mostly they found that the ideas they had didn't really work and we don't need a massive shake up.

( Causing ) havoc was balance 2.5 which would be where we are now.

Likely got shelved because what they tested on first sandbox server was a total mess. One could understand the idea behind those changes back then, just that idea wasn't really compatible with WoT realities.

Well WG figured out at some point that they can use no actually abuse balance to squeeze out more money from the game.

 

At that point everything changed. These days "balancing" is done to make more money, not actually balance the game. It would be a shame if people could be happy without pay2win and not only picking the same 5 tanks all day long. And we cant have fun can we now?

It got changed to Pay-to-win 2.0. Pay more profitable than balancing.

Balance 2.0 would never work the way they wanted it. It basically meant tossing out all we know now, and changing every class, building them up from scratch again. Like when they tested 1mm HE pen on arty, and HT's had turret traverse speeds of 10 and TD's had 200m view range on tier X. It would confuse more then it would fix for most. As AW showed on their early more aggressive testing of their balance 2.0.

 

They promoted it like something that would come. When in reality it was just an idea they wanted to test out, vs making a reality.

 

Arty and LT's are the only thing that kinda got past 2.0 if you will. Or the basic idea of it.
