I am a team player, I relish a coherent team team effort, but that is sadly a rarity in WOT as there is no balance by skill. When I play with zombies, I have very little interest to play FOR them, to try and carry them.

Biased poll, where is arty gameplay? I like challenge, not some easy mode mediums

I mostly enjoy sitting in whatever the equivalent of A0 is, waiting at the red line until my team is dead so I can farm purple points from double bushes when the game is lost. The salty tears and ping spam are just too satisfying.

Is there a 3rd option for salt?

I enjoy winning, I can live with doing less damage whoring but actually doing the damage that matters (on important targets that are holding your team back or are crucial to win a flank).

You don't need to do 6K damage to carry if you can do 2K damage that *actually* matters (important damage) and win the match.

I pretty much always go for the difficult targets because I know that if I can't take them out, there is a *very* big chance my team won't be able to do it either.

Everyone can damage/kill the easy targets, not everyone can actually take down the hard ones.

Both can be enjoyed, they're not mutually exclusive...

Arty has it's uses, maybe not 3 per team as that sucks but 1 or 2 max is nice to break deadlocks...

1st option because i would rather win my battles through skill and co-ordination than just to increase some of my stats for the sake of it.

They obviously are, either you play for stats, spam gold, statpedding and farming or you play to win and for the team. I've been told many times they are mutually exclusive by a lot of experts, who, even though their stats didn't show it, assured me they understood exactly how this game works.

Hmm from what I've seen so far you should teamplay to a point until you know you can't win then it's full farm mode. Surely that's the best of both worlds and someone who is good will have a WR and stats to match?

Meh :amazed:

I enjoy winning.

And I enjoy it even more, when I feel like I contributed - thus voted for 2.

I love it when the team get's raped in 2 minutes so i can run away and blame the team unless i died first then i'll blame the team regardless.
Srsly though i prefer a game where many players did damage at least it feels like "all of the team" contributed to the win. Sure the epic "i carried everyone" games are fun too but i prefer former more. I had so many games lately where almost half the team did zero damage because they refuse to fight it's mind boggling. Looking at how many of them were 20k 45% tomatoes it's no surprise that the whole team get's dragged down that much. I would go so far as to day they only do damage because other players let them.

Close games are always the most enjoyable, even when losing. Steamrolls (winning or losing) are just.. ..well, steamrolls.

To be fair, some of the most fun games were the ones where my team was mostly noobs, the enemy team was slightly less nooby, allowing me to kill most of the enemy team while standing alone, being a bloody hero! :izmena:

Getting the right balance between my noob team and the enemy noob team is rare, so I guess in general I prefer a team that somehow is not too dysfunctional.

"Team" in WoT is and always has been the three to five players who know what they are doing.

Missing option: When allied top tiers don't YOLO in to groups of enemy alone and they are capable of shooting more then once or twice before getting blasted back to garage.
