WG has "fixed"TM arty... result: much less one-shots by arty, but they anyway found a way to screw the players, because arty now is more precise, has higher firerate and is sill annoying as hell, and direct hits than pen still make an awful lot of damage, and when they gang up on one tank, that tank is almost as good as dead.


new arties also seem to have steeper shell trajectories, so it's not possible to take as much cover as before the patch. this is very annoying and contributes to make everyone play the same type of tank in WoT: the agile damage farmer.

maps covered with violet and blue smartasses in statpadder tanks can't be the intended result, can it?



- shorten stun duration by 25% or 30%

- make arties more imprecise (double the dispersion)

- increase aiming time by 50% or 75%

- increase shell flight duration

- make spall liners more effective (double their effectiveness)


actually, dispersion could use a special game mechanic - arties historically had to rely on arty spotters, so I propose that the arty can lock the hull, then the first shot would be imprecise, then the second shot with the hull still locked in the same position would be more precise, he third even more, until the fifth shot which would be fired at maximum precision.

As always absolutely no problem with discussing Artillery but why flood the Gameplay section with...I actually can't pronounce the number you entered (randomly?) in the Thread title. It's a big number, ok!
