Word Definitions:

Flank ...

it works with 1 tank ... 2 tanks ... with any amount of tanks as long as they are very nicely lined up showing their flanks to one side.

Flanks have lower armor rating and are thus easier penned from wider angles. We all want that ... pen ... win!!!

Outflank

The end result which positions your tank on the flank of another tank.

Spearhead

place where you divide a line of tanks into two parts. It might be 10-5 or 7-8 or 13-2 ... as long as its dividing

Pincer

Remove from protective retreat.

Angle of Defense/Attack

You can turn your turret only so fast from left to right. Or from front to Flank or from front to rear. The larger the angle ... the weaker your defense is.

Surround

Causing the benificial Maximal Angle of Attack of 360°.

The most Basic Tactic:

You want to make sure your line of tanks can either cause you to outflank the enemy or create a weak flank which you can pincer lose with a spearhead in a favorable division.

This works with a bad setup of the enemy tactic (or player skills). That is most often the lower tiers, although I've seen it in the new match types of very good players. ... hence this post.

Anyone should know:

You also want to match lines and flanks in opposite mirror with the Enemy. The bulk of the tanks should attack the weak flank, while a minority of tanks should defend against an advancing strong flank.

This chasing of the "snaketail" of both teams works based on destroying the weak flank faster than the opposing team, working your way to the head of the snake, creating a surround.
You can also call it the Clockwise tactic (CW tactic) where both team's strength moves Clockwise or the Counter Clockwise Tactic (CCW Tactic) where both team's strength move CCW.

Tactics:

Every tactic should always ensure your Angle of defense is low while the Enemies Angle of defense is Maximal. Even if you have to use tankspeed to drive around a tank for a solo 360° Angle.

You can reduce your angle of defense by hiding behind eg. buildings.

I really wish we had more of this in this so called "tank" game. But then again, it seems players prefer "weakspot clicking", "peek-a-boo fighting" and "whack-a-mole gameplay" as tactics so sadly I think this post is a quite a long shot OP :(

I think you need to pluralise the word tactic.

What is this angle you speak of?

180 is the least favorable angle (the rear).

360 degrees is the same as 0 degrees (or NO ANGLE)

It's a bit hard to understand your tactical knowledge if you mention angles like that....

A spearhead is a concentration of force. It doesn't say anything about splitting an enemy force (or something like that)

Your spearhead is the pincer of the enemy.

Tactical schmactical....

it appears you excel at splitting hairs.

it is obvious OP means sectors, not angles.

Sectors, this get's better and better.....

What do sectors have to do with a rotating turret or angling a tank?

Laati's WoT tactics for winning:

1) Start dealing damage as early as possible.
2) Don't take damage back.

I think you need to revisit your Spearhead tactic... Spearhead surely is to lead the thrust into enemy territory, nothing to do with dividing your sides forces

This game is about tactival movement and being in the right spot at the right time. You can watch any of my replays to see that. And then when you are in the correct spot, then you can shoot weakspots and peek a boo.

Flanking is a tactical move , macromoves

Weakspots, peekaboo are micromoves.

One has nothing to do with the other and they can perfectly coexist.

Pretty much this. Kinda like soccer. But that's unicum tactics.

These are the tactics for noobs, bots, wannabe's, splitters of something, etc:

1) Buy premium tanks of as highest tier as possible

2) Load full gold ammo

3) Unload gold in enemy vehicles

4) Laugh as they come to the forums complaining about the gold ammo

5) Win the match

7) Post your 3rd MoE on Skorpion G where you explain you fired nothing but gold ammo

8) Realise you're still a tomato who can't even count. to 7 right.
