Hi there

I cannot find any record of this topic being raised before.

I fully appreciate that players can gain more from WoT by becoming clan members, since more avenues of play become open to them and their play will usually improve in the medium term.

However, is there any role for a player who has finally lost his hearing recently? Most clans operate a 'teamspeak' system (or something similar in order to speed up communication. Of course, a deaf player cannot use this type of system - but should that bar them from enjoying some of the other benefits of clan membership?

I look forward to any views, positive or negative, from the community.

Well as you know, the Dingers don't take life to seriously .... right Mark?

We use TS, but have quite a few guys who have wives and GF's in the room, so they can't talk

It's something we can get round quite easily

We also have a couple of guys with hearing problems, so they cannot use TS at all

This does not stop them from joining TB's etc when we hold them....    we find a solution, like typing in "Follow the heavies!"

Of course, not every clan will be so laid back because they are much more competitive and want to win above anything else
