Posting it here because the Japanese HT forum is dead.

PLEASE fix the O-Ho's unbearably frustrating gun depression profile with the 15cm gun.

The majority of the front of the tank has -1 degree of gun depression. This makes it almost impossible to shoot at a tank in front of you unless you're on a road or some other extremely flat surface.

The 10cm gun has a much better (but still poor) depression profile, but it only has 212mm of pen and no gold ammo. In a super heavy that's pretty unworkable. The only way to play this tank is to stay on level ground, or throw all your armour away and expose your side to get that 10 degrees of gun depression. Poor gun depression is a feature of some tanks, but this disgustingly awkward profile and the abysmal 1 degree over the front makes getting the gun on target a real chore, and that's not to mention the fact that it's a derp gun that takes forever to aim anyway.

TL;DR - 1 degree of gun depression IS DISGUSTING wg pls fix

Its a derp gun. You don't even need to hit the enemy to damage them. No sympathy.

You didn't... you free XP'd nearly half of it.

Besides, are you seriously trying to defend 1 degree of gun depression? It's tragic.

From the picture, it seems that you get the full gun depression when angling correctly. (To one side, that is.)

What is bad about that?

Besides, as said above, it is a derp. So how unfortunately terrible.

Yeah, the keyword there is 'one side'. So what that it's a derp gun? The standard gun is terrible.

The simple fact is, if you want to keep your armour there's only a tiny window in which you can effectively engage a target. It's incredibly frustrating.

Angle your tank to the correct side and you have plenty of gun depression and your tank is angled nicely to bounce incoming too. Learn to deal with it, it's the trade off you pay for getting to derp every other poor sod.

The angle you have to go to to allow your gun depression is perfect and will bounce almost all incoming shells, even tier X tanks will struggle to penetrate you at that angle.

Because you don't know how to play a tank you think it should be changed?

Sadly this seems to be the logic of 90% of WoT players. I managed to finish the O-Ho grind with 55% win rate and a respectable 1,300 average damage.

Except you didn't, like the post above, you also free XP'd nearly half the grind. I also average 1.3k in it.

I don't see how the fact that the gun depression works on one side is a valid argument. You might as well have a turret that only traverses over one side of the vehicle. It's stupid and very situational. The fact that you can barely shoot a tank right in front of you is the problem I have with this tank.

Not really, the trade off for the derp gun is horrific handling and a 25km/h top speed.

Its possible to play around, just learn to position the tank. Always come out from corners by using your right side, becaues more depression. Sometimes you can use allies as cover and sit more or less sideways, with allies covering your tank while you can still shoot over them, but dont do that too often.

Right! Maybe you should learn to deal with it. It's annoying, but without those frustrating little turrets, O-ho's would be really unbearable on the battlefield.

It's annoying as hell with those frontal turrets. I think the O-NI was much better.

Well, if you use the standard gun with AP rounds, then the tank should get some depression over the front. Look at the LTTB, it has varying depression based on its guns (I think). I think the same could go for the O-ho.

That's correct. The only problem is the standard gun only has 212mm of pen with no gold rounds so you're useless as a superheavy in tier 10 games.

Why?

I mean, why should WG change a tank because a player doesn't like its performance?

Why not just make every tank identical? That way, no matter which nation you wanted to play, you would always be equal in everything. Every tank would have the same Pen, DPM, Speed, Armour, etc etc etc. We could make them all look the same as well.

So which tank shall we pick to be our only choice?
