It's interesting - if I got only one tank in hangar - mt25, can I take part in this marathon? I mean, can I win the prize, or its will be just waste of time?

One tank should technically be enough, but it depends on the nature of the missions. I assume there's going to be at least some missions with damage requirements which generally you'd want to do in the highest tier you have available. Expect at least some of the missions to be a royal PITA if MT-25 is literally all you've got.

Because anything else would be weird and frankly stupid for WG to do.

I play lot of T6 and the number of times I see it isn't much. It is not as common as a Japanese Tiger or anything else you can easily get your hands on, and if it was it wouldn't have been featured for collectors you genius. They feature rare or unique tanks there, in case you haven't noticed it.

Yes it was sold as an exclusive. I know 2 times at least when it was exclusively sold, so don't tell me that it wasn't. U are right in the other part, but still, it's not a common tank what so ever.

My problem is not with the marathon, my problem is the treatment of the older customers. It's hilariously ridiculous, how this tank could be owned only via buying it for real money, and yet WG gives us a laughable 1.5mil and a slot in return. If it was available for gold in the game client, yeah why not marathon it, because ppl could possibly farm it's gold price in tournaments, like I do it myself with 90% of my premium tanks. But putting a premium shop only tank into a marathon and forgetting old customers giving them jack s*** is just ridiculous. It would have been much better with a gold reward, since you paid for it anyways, or if not, then a choice for another T6 premium, which I don't own. It's not that hard to make everyone happy with the marathon... But why do I even get surprised, it's WG afterall...

The base gold price is 3,750.

Gold to Silver conversion normally happens at 1:400

3750*400 = 1.5 million silver.

So the compensation is correct.

They also sold the TogII as a collectors tank.  Are you saying the Tog is rare?

Wargaming use Buzzwords for everything.

Collectors Edition = Higher Priced.

Standard = Our cheapest package with the worst return - for those who don't want to Whale out, but do want the items.

Ultimate = Tease item that offers something okay, but doesn't break the bank.

Supreme = Here Whale, Here Whale, Here Whale... YARRR

Anyhow, glad you purchased it before, hope you enjoyed it before lots of other people get it.

As for gold being earned for free in many different ways... For most players there is no easy way to earn gold.  Many players who earn "Free" gold are also whales.  If you are upset about this then never buy anything from them again ;).

You get nothing, just as the news article and other guys posting in this topic have said.

Nothing.

1.5mln credits + garage slot, actually. Not great, but not literally nothing either.

Dicker can be bought for gold, which you can earn for free in many different ways. That's not the case with the 85M.

So what? ... I also paid money for 85M. I don`t mind a marathon for him. Other players can earn it if they put the time in just like I earned a lot of premiums in other marathons. No need to be salty.

I was hoping for the otto carius tiger ... but hey, such is life.

Yeah, but they used to give gold in exchange for already owned premiums, and if I am correct there has never been any premium shop only tank that become a marathon tank, with out it's gold compensation for customers. Only KV-220 was featured in marathon which is a premium shop only vehicle, but back then, it was gold price as well.

Anyways you are right, and not only from now on. I'm not buying from WG anymore maybe for years, cas as I said, I earn my gold, and I don't want to spend money on pay 2 win tanks, only to have it on top of my idk 10 other t8 premiums... I just don't like the fact that I spent money to get 1.5 mil and a slot...

Tell me about it, in 1 single day I can farm 2-3 times more credits, on top of that, I always win enough gold to buy a silly garage slot. To me it is literally nothing.

I have to say it again, that I don't care that other people get it. I am sad because of the rewards that the owners get. It would be much more convinient with gold price...

By the way, I'm on your side, I was really-really hoping for Carius' tiger to come as a marathon. I'm a German tank fanboy, love the Tigers and Panthers in any shape or form.

Keep in mind this is WG.

So the first 5-10 missions will be easy to relative easy and from there it won't be realistic without either 8-10 hours a day or tier VIII-X.

This way either you have higher tier tanks, (which almost requires you to have a premium tank (thanx to the stupid economics on tier VIII-X (with basicly EVERY NON PREMIUM tank not making any money, but rather loosing quite a lot)) so you have most likely paid WG for that tank so they have atleast some money) or WAY TO MUCH time. And after you have played those missions you most will be like, well those missions are plain out impossible to do for me, but I have spend quite some time getting the earlier missions so.... Let's buy those ticket things. I mean I don't mind the missions at the end being harder, but WG this is a tier VI medium, that costs just 15 euro's or so, and try and use this as a way to get some trust back, by not basicly making half of the missions RNG based or requiring high tier to complete in realistic times (up to 2 hours or so for an avarage player) I mean those missions for the supply crate in June were great, they weren't impossible for an slightly under-avaraged (if I may say so) player to do in a realistic amount of time and were fun to do. If you take those as a basic and perhaps make the last few slightly harder then you have a marathon that for my feeling stacks up to the tank. (once again, it is not some Tier VIII OP Premium Heavy like the Obj. 252U (Defender) or the T26E5 (Patriot) but an ok Tier VI Premium that you will most likely play for fun rather then making a ton of credits, given that the latter two are plain out better for that.)

I mean, I would like to get this T-34-85M but if the missions are just getting impossible or near impossible without spending the better half of the next 2 weeks grinding XP, damage and kills that is just not worth it to me. (I hope you do something with this, altough most likely not XD)
