We the people (players) are the ones who are keeping this game alive. Some of us doing it by buying gold and premium time which is helping to pay the wages of those who work on this game. And others who don't pay at all are helping by populating the servers, so we don't have to spend 10 minutes waiting in the queue to get into the battle. We all one way or the other are the main building blog of this game, because without a players there is no game.

We are growing tired of mistreatment made by WarGaming party, locking up topics with false accusations, making up lies of hate speech and homophobia aimed towards those who openly criticized powercreep and OP tanks introduced to the game one by one. While other popular classes of tanks are being deliberately made obsolete and non-playable. Light tanks and regular free tier 8's, once one of the most popular tier is being destroyed by over buffed premium tier 8's and non-premium tier 10 heavies. The removal of weak spots and the need of using premium ammo is being pushed at us and the general feedback is ignored.

The main goal of every game is to be FUN, but fun has been swapped by FRUSTRATION and when we are waiting for promised answer to those problems, we get lies instead. Yes, I am talking about WG Grand Finals and the statement that Skoda T-40 can take on on Defender easily if driven by a good player. I do own Skoda T-40 and in my book this is one of the worst tanks in-game, so how can any amount of skill substitute for such overpowered machine.

Player base is in the state of limbo where every update is being watched with apprehension and players don't believe in alternation which would make this game fun again. We can't even agree to disagree and all of this is the reason why unpopular changes are being added to the game.

The official reason for locking up this topic will be that this is an anti-state, anti-socialistic and demagogic piece of writing. Call me a traitor and a renegade, I don't care anymore.

All of you who agree with my point of view, sign this Charter 17, just bear in mind that you might be persecuted for such an act.

We are strong in numbers, we just need to unite to the common cause, then only then we might see some real changes for the better.

From FUN to FRUSTRATION part is something I can relate to.

FREE tip to everyone: spending more does not shift the equation from FRUSTRATION back to FUN.

I think they were talking about the tier 8 TVP VTU in that video. Not that it matters too much since it's still complete BS

Ok, I got that one wrong, my bad. I really thought they are talking about T-40 :)

The time when the money people spend on the game payed just the food the developers have to live from is long long over. Today the money people spend on the game fills the pockets of the developers. The owners of WG are billionaires now - just in case you didn't know.

And that is the very reason why they don't care about anything. Because they don't have to.

Using the term "we" is rather suboptimal when you then proceed to turn it into a rather personal rant about your own personal problems with the developer/game.

Not that I disagree with the general consensus about fochgate and the general path the game is taking, but so far I don't see things like "locking up topics with false accusations" to be on that list...

No need to mention those special "fail". You just need to look at how often the devs and community guys promised that everything will get better and that the players' feedback is relevant. That already says everything about the relation between the devs and the players...

That is not the reason why unpopular changes find their way into the game. The reason is quite simple: The devs have no idea what they are doing. They go for the leat amount of work. And for money. That's it.

No need to overdramatise things. Nobody will kill you for starting this thread. And while the moderation on this forum is as random as the game, I don't believe that it will get locked. At least for now.

Just in case you manage to gather 10.000 people in front of your house: What exactly is that "common cause"? You forgot to explain what people are supposed to do...

edit: Just noticed that "freedom of speech" in the tag-list. Oh dear.

For a moment I considered breaking down your post but you're relishing your Internet Che Guevara persona so much I can't be bothered. Instead I'll just say there's no such thing as freedom of speech on an internet forum unless the owner decides otherwise and leave it at that. Have fun with your dramatic re-enactment or whatever this is supposed to be.

I don't think I've ever used the term "we" on this forum with such an intention like in this topic. So don't blame for wanting to try, at least for once. (I know you don't blame me for anything, but for the lack of words I did use it).

Maybe Charter 77 , does it ring a bell ? Perhaps not, it is not something you would find as a subject in schools abroad.

They are suppose to follow the leader, just kidding here. In an ideal world, I would like to see some youtuber with a spine and with a large community of subscribers coming forward and get people to cooperate so they could hurt WG right there where it hurts and that's money. The way how it should be done is to choose a day where all who agree would not play the game for this day, and then repeat the process with more days not playing until WG realize that perhaps something should be done.

I did see a topic being closed today with a false reasons, I did report it and they have changed the reason why this topic was closed.

Again, this is related to that wiki page I posted the link above. Go to the Reaction of the Government paragraph.

Hi there!

Just the way you word this is made me feel rather blehh. Really? We the people, we are strong in numbers? If you were going for a nauseating mix of the declaration of independence meets V for Vendetta crossed with a side salad of Anonymous then you got it. How you can use that pronoun and presume to speak for the entire playerbase is presumptuous and narcissistic.

I am more than happy that you have your own opinion which I partially agree and disagree with, but please don't be pretentious and slap it on every person playing Wot.

Hello,

I don't slap it on every person, just for once I wanted to try the "we" thing here, not the "wee", (that's Scottish I think).

You know how back in the day coal miners used to bring birds down so that if the bird died, they knew they were in a bad place? QPRanger is like this forum's mining bird except he doesn't die, he just likes things.

I do remember those days, I was the bird carrier back then. Thank you for explanation, even if it means that this wall of text I wrote is a load of BS to you and Mr. Ranger.

I was just trying to be a little Surrealistic that's all.

Whilst I agree with your ideas and sentiments. Unfortunately, as Jigijibe already pointed out, the devs for this game are already multi millionaire/billionaires..... Just how much "hurting" do you think we could do?

All that will happen is the servers will close and WOT will become just another page on wiki... The devs walk away with their money...

Having said that, If people actually shunned the latest powercreep clad tier 8 premium, and it didnt sell....that "might" make them think and re-evaluate where their drive is taking the game.

The use of the word 'WE' implies that you are posting from a position of responsibility or on behalf of others. Did they elect you or did you just assume the mantle?

I for one do not agree with most of your post, but hey, you are entitled to hold your own opinion.

I do get frustrated at times with the game, but then I have gotten frustrated at time with other games, but that does not spoil my fun playing this game.

And as we are quoting famous people, the Australian Comedian Kevin "Bloody" Wilson once (actually quite often) said "D I L L I G A F". Nothing to do with your post, just quoting, thats all.
