Why do we play against those tanks from 50's and 60's (and later, check Wikipedia) with our regular tanks from WWII?

Those above tanks behave like that they have jet engines and they might also get wings too... And surprisingly, or not, they are all purchased, kind of unfair? It's call to quit (or pay), otherwise we are like sitting ducks, sad.

There are many, many tech tree tanks from the 50's and 60's... whats your point?

The Type 62 is just a WZ-131 without the top modules (not stock either though) and a premium credit multiplier. Tanks like the Conqueror, Leopard 1, Centurion 7/1 etc. all came out after 1950. Basically all tanks that actually saw service, or were produced, above Tier IX came from after the year 1950.

And last time I checked, tanks like the WZ-131 are tech tree tanks, not premium. So what is your point?

It used to be, before the WZ-131 lost its 100mm gun in the great LT reshuffle. Now its basically a better WZ-131 (better viewrange, much much more dpm)

What? I mean every tanks face other tanks from different eras. Heck even most WWII tanks face pre WWII tanks. Then again this game is, nor has it ever claimed to be a WWII game. Since day one the focus was from the mid 30's to the mid 60's more or less.

Tbh I always used the 85mm on it, even before the changes.  But that extra alpha and more pen was not enough for me to keep it around vs the 62 after the changes.

First point, this is NOT a World War II tank game, so throw that idea right out.

Secondly, some of the games best tanks are actually from the era you are saying is being outclassed (IS-3 best example, never actually saw war service but was designed and built during the second world war)

And to add to this, you do realise there are still WW2 tanks in service? And I don't mean just in Syria and Ukraine.

Y'know, some tanks in the game do have aircraft engines...

I'm not actually sure what OP is saying. This game isn't a historically correct simulator and it's full of examples of tanks facing vehicles from a completely different era, but I'm not sure what the issue with that is as it doesn't have quite as much bearing on their stats/performance as OP seems to think.
