Easy guide to tier 7-8 light tanks:
Has autoloader? It's good.
No autoloader? It's not good.

Haven't played the HWK, but seen a few fans. Heck, even if it's not a great tank, it does have a viewrange advantage (410m!) over most T8 lights, and it's not a T8 medium tank.
Indien-Panzer, even after getting buffed a couple of times, is a quite mediocre tank. It has good gun depression - but doesn't have any turret armor, nor does it have good enough gun stats to fire quick shots without aiming. Hull armor can be a bit troll due to angles and large tracks, but the turret is too crappy to brawl and sidescrape. It's not fast enough to circle much many tanks either, if that's your thing.

Since you are not interested in tier X light tank, go for Indien-Pz.
It's a decent and really fun tank if you know how to play it.

No thanks, I think it's ugly tank and have no interest in playing yet another tier 8 with 240 alpha unless it leads somewhere I want to get to. I played through to the Ru 251 in order to get the Leopard that way and while it's now 50k more xp going through the HWK, that's less xp than playing a whole other line to reach the same tier 9.

Well, it's up to you.
I really enjoyed Indien-Pz. Was thinking of buying it back. Maybe someday...

Is the Leopard PT A a good tank in the current game? I have bought it but hesitate to put a crew in it.
The HWK 12 is a fun and fast tank to play.Great view range, ok camo and punchy gun. Shell velocity is low, which can be a bit painful.

Leopard PT A is my favourite medium tank. It's probably the best tier IX medium tank in the game.
You should go for it. You will really love it's "golden" 105 mm cannon.

I think Leopard PTA is the best tier 9 med. Great mobility, great camo value, high pen 390 alpha, good gun derp.
Just go for it!

honestly I would say discontinue the line.
the indien pz is such a brutal grind and even once upgraded the gun doesn't have the accuracy needed for a slow paper armour medium.
the RU is ok as a light, but the T49 is a far better light tank to try get to at the moment in tier 9...

Pretty sure you can research PTA and RU251 from both the HWK and Indien-P. - at least for the time being. Can't remember if it got put in temporarily or not.
