Have you ever had the pleasure to zoom in a little, no snipe, but zoomed in for a shot in a city or something and when you zoom out  the camera view is pointing to the ground.

So you lose all control of aiming for a short while. It even is kinda disorienting.  This comes in so handy when in a fight and f's up ur getaway or even the attack.

I understand why this happens, but its so annoying. Why not just don't let it zoom out fully? This has been annoying for as long as I can remember in this game.

Just never heard anybody else complain about this. I really think this is a shortcoming of this game and should be improved in the future.

Filing a ticket for this ain't gonna help as i'm apparently the only one complaining.

Next up is the practically zero chance to hit a target when ur sure your gonna hit it, but it just disappears right before it hits. You can see the ammo fly through the spot where the target was at that point.

Sometimes even the target re-appears at that exact spot cause someone is spotting it again but the target hasn't moved. And i'm talking 1 or 2 seconds. And not covering behind a solid, but just a bush or even in plain field. This happened before, but it seems to have gotten worse after the latest updates.

Again something WG has got to fix in my opinion.

I'm not trying to justify lousy playing or aiming , even I can have a good run sometimes. :amazed:

I just hope other players have had this also and speak up, Maybe they (WG) will listen and do something about this.

Thanks for serious replies and not the bashing that usually comes first . :great:

Never seen that either.

eh the opposite. City brawling, switching to zoom and back often makes the gun aim upwards for whatever reason when near a wall

How are you guys switching zoom?  I never got the hang of using shift, I only ever use the mouse wheel and never have these issues.

Oh i use shift so much i had to disable sticky keys.

I almost always shoot in first person view, couldn't hit a barn in third person.

Third person view i use only for moving and peeking corners

Ok, so you've never seen this. It happened to me multiple times. Its actually the whole reason I started this topic. Happens most in td's when sniping, for me that is.

Thanks for the reply.

Nope.

If a tank disappears and my shell goes where it was then I hit it.

If I don't hit then it's because I missed, not because the game cheated me.

Perhaps he is talking about aiming at targets far away, you know that hilltop thing where the gun is suddenly aims at the sky behind it once it disappears aka 700+ meters, changing the gun elevation aka shell flying over target.

I use the range lock for this reason

There is a problem with the camera when you are near some solid object. And try to zoom out, it will jump to some sort  sky view , until you zoom back.

Incredibly annoying when brawling in a city and you zoom in yo hit that cuploa and bang, the camera jumps and you see the tank from  above.

I too find this stupid camera annoying as hell, and there is some where a thread about it. I also use the mouse wheel, i  just didn't think there is a person who does not know about it.

Those aiming bugs are annoying, but the second case you explained is nonsense.
Replay, please.

the problem get bigger when you have object behind you. then every time you try out of zoom you get the object with above zoom on you tank, then you need to adjust to target, and when you zoom  and out of zoom its happen again.

Really, I didnt thought of it as the game cheating me. Just an annoying gameplay.

But ok, this is an answer too. :) I was asking if you guys were experiencing the same thing. So far guess not.

I'll try to check if I can see via replay what happens and post it here. Really not trying to be a whining little kid here.

All the more reason for me to see when and if it happens again, if I can share this via replay.

Again Thanks so much for replying.

I use Fang, so I remapped the key.

Same here (though moving the camera to peek over a building or around a corner feels like cheating...). :hiding:
