How to fix old unbalanced maps not changing they at all.

simple solution

"Hello dear player, you just joined match on xxxxx map north side. We know north side is like 57% loose, so we wish you try harder and don't give up. As reward for this challenge next time when you get same map you will be awarded playing it on opposite spawn location, meaning possible easy win. But don't get fooled: you can easy lost that game if you don't respect enemy. GL on battlefield commander!"

 

What you think? This message can be showed in first 10 times playing unbalanced maps, then disappear. It should be enough to explain mechanics.

I doubt all those maps were removed because one side was winning more than the other.

And if game would have to remember what side you started on last time you played that time and sort out players accordingly it would mean longer queue time and IMO it would be too complicated and pointless anyway

Better fix than I expected.

 

Seems legit. Still better than the excuse that they rework maps to HD and use that not to care for them at all for over 1.5 years.

I'm 100% sure servers use some kind of memory about current player game session. For example if you turn assault mode on you will get surprisingly stable % numbers of that type games.

And I don't think it will be big issue for queue.
