Post your best stereotypes, i'll start:

1. Majority of Lowe players are tomatos

2. Polish players can choose one out of 10 usernames for their account, with the most popular being Wojtek

3. Germans must have Oberst in their username

1. A players who grinds the Tiger line to get the famous tier 7 tank is called a wehraboo / he also is the player who is mentioned in OPs post #1

2. Progamers always have xXx_name_xXx or a similar comination in their name.

3. Bad players always know who is cheating.

Those who dare to disagree with me are WG shills or minions.
Those with rat-faced avatars, too.
Those with that smiley clantag are also noobs.

Oh we could be here all week....

- All T-22 drivers are mission-rigging toe-rags.

- All players who happen to be behind me on the mini-map are feckless cowards worthy of disdain.

- All players who happen to be ahead of me on the mini-map are bad YOLO / suicide-scouts.

- All IS-3 drivers are endowed with noob-defence deflector shields - enabling the bouncing of all sorts of shells from all sorts of angles. My IS-3's shield generator on the other hand doesn't seem to work half as well...

- People who go for an evening of Tog-driving are mad - just plain mad.

- Players with numbers in their names are singularly unimaginative and thus untrustworthy.

Those are just some of my stereotypical prejudices. More available on request.

Mr. GekkoGordon,

Why does this feel like the start of a xenophobic thread? I assume that you have issues with German or Polish players or is this a hidden cry against tomatoes (of which I am a tomato as well with +- 1,800 games in my Lion?

Löwe is cool now. Defender is the new Löwe. Not sure about Polish names but I do know that they have to end with PL. For germans I nominate Panzerknacker. As for stereotypes on my own we have dumb heavy players (hurr durr must go hug a wall), dumb TD players (hurr durr must kemp this one bush outside render range) and dumb SPG players (well..yeah). Mediums players are alright and lights handsome.

Nothing to do with xenophobia, germans and polacks were the first to cross my mind. There are also UK players with "cheeky" and "creative" names, Russian server T-127 & Churchill III rerolls, Spanish players (pls go play football

edit: also nothing against tomatos, my most played tank is a Lowe

Is that bad? That's what we say in my part of Sweden and I have never heard that it would be considered to be derogatory or something like that.

A native or inhabitant of Poland, or a person of Polish descent.

IS-7 players usually suck as well. Certainly not a good players tank of choice

I think Polak is fine but the Polack is an insult. I'm sure someone can confirm or deny this.  either way...jeesh man stop it

Never heard of there being a difference (having had dealings with Poles at work - never met a more polite bunch of people btw) - other than some sensitive (generally non-Polish-speaking) souls who get offended at the drop of a hat.

'Polak' is simply an anglicised pronunciation of the polish word for 'Pole' (as in - Polish-man). Try saying Polak and Polack in English - they both sound exactly the same! If you said the same two phrases to a Pole they wouldn't be able to tell the difference by hearing it alone. There are far worse insults in the PL dictionary that you would employ if you so desired.

Belgian players are that rare that they immediately get hunt down by the Special CRew Of Tank Units Minsk (aka SCROTUM), get stuffed with straw and are displayed at WOT HQ.

I, being belgian, spent some time there. Food was terrible, still suffering from stomach cramps.
