Been trying so hard to get 3 marks on any tank (and have got agonizingly close), so to finally get one feels amazing :) (ofc at tier 10, the hardest tier to 3 mark :D) I gave up on the 59-16 and obj. 140, both getting to 94.8% before rng and mm screw me over :( but finally the leopard 1 is the one :)

anyone else close or 3 marked this beast?

P.S. ive attached some photos with my average dmg and assistance if you want to have a look at what you should be aiming for :P

So... what do you think of this tank? Some people like to call it junk. And how much they just cant make it work, no matter how much they have tried.

Is that any true? Or is it actually OK?

I 3 marked it aswell, and its really not bad, the speed combined with lasergun allows you to get fire in where needed and do good dmg.

Hmm... i starting to feel tempted...

I think it does better damage than obj 140 per shot, so it needs to spam little less.

Ofc i take it corridor maps doesnt help it. But than they dont help TVP tier 10 also.

Congrats man, well done.

I thought at first you 3 marked the tier V one :P ( it looks really funny with them tiny stripes on that machine gun).

Its good once you master its speed. Most people will over use the speed, over-extend where allies cannot help and the leopard is very unforgiving. Come to think of it, I can't think of any tier 10 which is more unforgiving. I played it as more of a support tank but not sitting at the back and sniping. Yes the gun is usually good (except for those games which it just decides screw your 0.28 accuracy and you get worse accuracy than arty) but it cannot "hit weakspots at 400m" which some people make it out to be. Play the leopard as close range support, ie. 100-200m away but close is better, using your allies as your 'meatshield' (sounds selfish but its how youve gotta play if you wanna 3 mark it) and use the speed to flank enemies and protect your allies from enemies who try and flank your team. Oh, and don't screw with rng, if there is an enemy point their gun at you DO NOT poke round the corner. I see so many players use their leopard as a peak-a-boom tank and i think to myself 'what are you doing?'. The leopard thrives in low risk high reward situations - just find those positions which you can find a bush and just farm 3-4k dmg without being spotted, which does mean looking at your map!

Overall, I do think the leopard in the current meta is one of the weakest mediums (if not the weakest alongside the amx 30b) and probably due for a buff, but the tank is by no means 'junk' - its only junk if you cant play it and rush into the enemy every game - it cannot simply drive away or weather the storm like a 907 - its gonna die in 5 seconds and thats being generous. However, in the right hands and praying for the right map, it can consistently do above 5k dmg. I think its case of playstyle not suiting the tank rather than it being complete garbage, but this is just my opinion :P

P.S. thanks for all the messages of congrats :)

Congrats. Leo 1 was one of the more frustrating tier 10 tanks for me to mark.

Congratulations.

I enjoy the odd game I play in the Leopard 1, but I have never attempted to three mark any tank on purpose (I have one, but that came about during random games I played in it).

Very nice. Have not even considered going for a third at that tier but your average actually looks doable. Maybe I should bring my garage queen out on the fields again and have a go at it. I mean..some day. Possibly.

Congratz. I 3 marked my Tiger (P) today as well. Too bad the 88mm barrel can't show rings as nicely as the thicker 105mm L7.
