That mm setup just exposes how artellery limits the game and forces you to not play...

 

i would ratter play a tier X game vs 5 or 6 tier X heavies, than that....

because that game for me was never an encounter mode:

 

on an Enounter mode in prokhorovka without arty, i would go middle using to position my tank agressively to spot and shot enemies...

with 3 arties being the only top tier heavy, that would be a suicide, and you can count how many splash damage shots the tiger 1 in my team

suffered, as he decided to go middle....

 

against my own nature as a player and being forced to camp behind a hill to avoind to be spoted... that only prevented me to take arty 

shots during the first minutes, because as soon as i gave away my position they imediatly started spamming....

 

So when i said it was never an encounter game, it really wasnt... for 12 players of the enemy team was an enounter game

 

for me and the arty players of the enemy team, was a 1 vs 3,except they can shot HE shots at me from any place as soon as i got spoted

and i cant shot them not only because i cant spot them, but because they are far than 500 meters away and i cant even see them

 

and this is why basicly i think arty is a completely wrong mechancis and it must go away... its completely stupid to be forced to play like this...

 

in Malinokva at least there is a mill in the top of the hill, where i can knock out all the heavies from that cover... 

 

in prokorovka 3 arties in mm like that is just unfair and stupid

No what lost you the game was the fact that your sides scouts sucked and their's didn't as much. 

Arty has been in the game since pre-alpha, it hasn't killed the game yet, in fact it never will, and will not be removed. So suck it up and deal with it. Btw tomorrow with patch 9.19.1 they are actually getting some slight buffs, so ha ha.

 

Mods yet another arty whine thread, please do your thing.

Have you been perma-stunned?

Stun is completely redundant and broken mechanic with critical hits already in game.

never had been even in games with 3 arties

broken ? yet again ? i asked so many times not even once i got a reply ...

what means broken? how do you meassure it ?  too fast, too slow, too strong, too weak all that can be quantified but brokenness ?

 

also the stun is rather too weak than to strong,  arty hits you and your are stunned, now you press a key or wait a few seconds and the stun is gone

the stun is for the most parts just an annoyance nothing more or less

would you dare to claim perma-tracking a tank would be a broken mechanic too ?  

 

 

strange enough despite all that claims i never saw a replay to show such a perma stun

When i play the ridge on Prohk in a LT i'm not interesting enough as a target because i keep moving. There are so many easier to hit targets next to the rails or on the hill...like Löwe.

It seems everyone seems to love arty nowadays...  personally I still think it's a a class when gotten rid of, it would make the game play better.

- Due to higher accuracy and faster reload times, you now get hit by arty continuously when in a heavy tank.

- When in a light fast tank you now suddenly get hit far more often.

Yes, artillery is bad and made for bad players. The only thing we can do is to keep asking WG to remove them or at least make a fix that actually fixes them.

Clickbots are terrified of the thought of a no arty mode because they know their crutch is broken.

But do you get one shot frequently? Because that used to be the moan about it.

just that arties dont shoot heavies anymore because 2 digit damage doesnt kick it for 30-40 sec reload

 

when your fast light tanks getting hit so often you should assk yourself why is that

 

with ~5 or more sec aimtime and shell airtime of 2-5 seconds  arties are predicting where you would be in about 10 secs if they can do that they deserved that hit you on the other side seems to deservered to be hit too
