I've been seriously struggling in this tank, because even when I feel like i've done okay in it I still seem to bleed credits.

Now i've just had what is by far and away my best game in this tank, 5,103 damage, no premium ammo fired, 5 kills and a little spotting damage.

Unfortunately a T54e1 clipped me at the end of the match, but to come out of there and find i've only made 5,462 credits from what I considered to be a fairly monster game is utterly debilitating, no wonder i've been struggling to fund playing in this tank...

I'm sure i'll get schooled now, told to "git gud", or "die less tomato", or told "just buy Premium" ... But for regular joes like me, this is pretty offputting.

I haven't played that line but the E5 will probably bankrupt you if it is anything like the other tier Xs

That's how the games economy works, higher tiers are more expensive to play to keep the mid tiers populated by non-paying customers and to get others to continue their "subscription" which is premium time. (I think I recently read something about the devs looking into changin this model a bit but we'll see if it's soontm or never).

If anything making a profit with a standard account on tier 9 while having your tank wrecked is the proof that you had a great game and didn't waste your ammo. With standard account I'd suggest you find a tier 6 medium tank you enjoy playing solo or in a platoon with friends (T-34-85M marathon ;) ) and play it for fun. This way grinding credits to fund running your higher tiers doesn't feel like a chore. You can also look into re-doing some of the easier Personal missions you've already completed with their secondaries that are often rewarded with credits. Don't forget about those +50% credits for 2h Reserves you get from other missions from time to time.

Dude. you are averaging like 2,5 shots per game in the M103. You are not supposed to earn credits at tier 9 with that.

No, people will wonder how you managed to reach 13k battles without noticing that high tiers earn considerably less in order to promote mid-tier gameplay. That's by design in order to encourage longer-term players to continue playing mid-tiers to earn the credits needed to fund their high-tier tanks. Buying premium time and tanks makes the fund-raising process happen quicker, that's all.

You expect to earn big profits on high tiers? Name one game that has en economic system that gives you the big profits for no cost higher up? It's done that way for several reasons. One is to spread the population. So that not 99% of the server are on tier X grinding credits like most MMO's with an "end game".

Yes you "only" made 5K credits with 5K damage. I've not run premium for almost 2 years. And I'm amazed each time I see more then 10K profit on a tier 9 if I did die. But if you play HT's and take a beating, it will take out lots of your profits. As high tiers are not cheap to run on repairs.

I'm barely even on premium account while playing M103 and Conqueror (HEAT/APCR only agains superheavies or stuff like that as ~260 pen is more than enough for rest)... so yeah, grind those tier 5s if you want credits to play tier 9.

My most played tank - by a mile - is the mod1. It is crap and horrible to play, but I need to keep with it because it's my only premium and it's the only way an average player like me can fund his tier X habit, even with premium account.

And this is not a good thing.. Players should have fun playing a game.

I have 2 tier 9 tanks and can barely ever afford to play them. 1 tier 10 tanks and can never afford to play it.

I have 13k battles because i've played basically every tank in the game (apart from spg) in tiers 1-7

Totally agree. But it is what it is. And will only get worse, when WG is manipulating everything so that you have to fire more gold to stay competitive.

So you've got more than enough experience to know what to expect from your high tier tanks but you're complaining anyway. Forgive me if I seem less than sympathetic to your cause.

Unless, of course, you've only recently picked up that account from someone else and didn't know how the game economy works. :harp:

Simple logic.

If something is not enjoyable for you. Stop doing it. Really isnt that hard to figure out.

OP, I have a question. How in the hell do you only block 87.56 dpg in the E75?

Is this your first time playing a high tier tank that isnt premium ? I learned that at tier 7. You are gonna be in up for a big suprise at tier 10. I dont have a tier 10 but i know that it was gonan become unprofitable after tier 6.

so you could play a marthon to get a t8 premium tank ?

so you could have earned

is6, SP, Wz111 (2x), T44-100, T25 pilot without spending anything but time    and even without premium account these tanks can earn you some nice income http://wotreplays.co...e/3702256#stats

and even if you dont want to go with premium tanks you might use normal t5/6 tanks  to support your high tier game

there are 487 tanks in the game  180 of em are T8-10 so the remaining 307 tanks would be the T1-7 tanks right?    you played  134 different tanks on the live server  that basically not every tank but  not even half of the total amount

also your stats would rather suggest to stay at the T6-7 zone  you arent fit for T8 leave alone T9 or 10 yet
