One of the most used and cancerous mods in the game. Why do you care about the stats of the players in the game? Just encourages people blaming each other and xvm focus fire. New arty stun + xvm is the most frustrating experience. Period. Just encourages whining and puts people into a losing mentality before the game has even started meaning you are GUARANTEED to lose. WG should just make it an illegal mod. It does nothing to promote gameplay and instead detracts from it.

just so i know which team will win right from the loading screen

anti-xvm arguments about how xvm is not accurate display of team skill are pure bs,

i have had games where my team was filled to brim with great/amazing player while the enemy team is tomato/potato. guess what the outcome was, we wrecked them hard like the xvm said we would.

Non elite filter in the garage... that's the positive it brings to name one.

I still use XVM for many reasons now and then, like the one pointed out above. But not activated the service for ages.

I see, it's easier to give up at the start then to actually try something and win a game. You don't like the odds so let's go suicide and throw a few insults on your way to the nearest river.

The first and main negative effect of XVM in a battle is cause the cry babies using it to post 'Help' in chat if there is the slightest imbalance in the teams. This alone can demotivate a team because now everybody else knows they are a tank down because that player has effectively given up. And all this happens before the game even starts.

it doesn't matter when that 200 wn8 maus is gonna camp in base, xvm is more accurate then you.

your scenario rarely happens, when have red players brought anything to the team except being cannon fodder and free exp.

i see all red enemy team and i jump in joy because the game is pretty much in the bag. also the fact even without xvm people can be toxic, because there is a such thing called viewing your profile after battle.

you're just salty that you get xvm focused.

XVM isn't just about showing someone's WN8, just so you know. It's good that they removed the Win Chance thing, by the way. I see less issues because of it. After all, it's additional information, it's up to you how you use it.

winchance was stupid, because it took wn8 of every player into consideration and calculated it based on that.

it would tell that you had 35% chance of winning because enemy team had a platoon of super unicum in t34 heavies, even though it's a tier 10 games and you can easily kill them.

To spot uniscum forumites on your team and say "hello" to them?

Or on the enemy team and greet them with an arty shell...

So i can know whether i should play agressive or not? If they have unicum light tanks im sure as hell not playing agressive. That's just one example.

Do people realize this is mostly (i say mostly because theres a bit of p2w in wot) skill based game? Then why wouldnt you want to know the skill of the enemies?

If you cant see the tactical benefit of seeing the average skill level of your enemies and allies, then too bad for you. Information is always valuable.

The problem you are bringing up has more to do with how idiots interpret information. Ban idiots, not xvm.

I don't use mods anymore because there's an update to the game every nine minutes which makes the mods outdated, but when I used xvm it was so that I could see if the guy next to me would want damage or not. If the guy has high WN8 he will yolo a lone tank after me if I push a lone tank, but if he has low WN8 he will literally stand there and not even shoot the enemy tank before I'm dead, even though I circled the enemy tank for a minute.

As a yellow bob it was also very simple to learn with xvm:

  • DO what the blue and purple players do.
  • DON'T DO what the red and yellow players do.

So when I didn't know what to do I just followed the purples and helped them by being aggressive with them.

  1.  Self Improvement
  2. Avoiding to give your back to that ally that will mathematically sit behind you blocking your retreat and push you towards enemy guns because "Must shooet"

Tomatoes are good for your day in the right season, right dish, recipe.

Warning: Do not apply on your shoulders after gun-burns. :girl:

you can either see a glass full or empty..

XVM allows me to determine who are the good players from the bad... from there i can make decisions on how to support the good.. so they carry more.. and not follow the bad because they decided to yolo...

now for the enemy team, with XVM i can decide which tank is priority for fire.. it usually depends on the Opness of the tank, but also on what player is driving it. if he is a good player he will do great, so he needs to be taken out first.

i disregard all xvm guys who blame colors or MM at start when they look at the line up. and in all honesty MM does fcuk us good.. and XVM wn8 shows the disbalance well.

in a nutshell XVM influences the way i play

play and think positive..

this soo much

if there is a another good player on the team i will communicate with them so we can maximize our chances of winning. this is especially true if he/she is in the same class vehicle as me.

XVM is technically an enhanced game interface that allows the display of a number of "skill" metrics;  WN8, WN7, xTE etc.

XVM also allows for crew and equipment swapping, improved map functionality, easier garage management and many more.  Basically, the only contentious part of XVM is the skills part.  I use it for its other features.
