So, according to the portal, we would get 50% discounts on consumables. Don't get me wrong, I am a simple man; I see discounts, I buy as if it is Black Monday.

I log into the game, I go to the store section and witness the following...........

Well played WG_EU, well played, I am definitely going to make good use of removed speed governors........:facepalm:

*****UPDATE*****

The consumable list on discount ingame has been updated; it now covers all consumables, regular and premium ones.

Nowhere in the game does it say that those are premium consumables :)

If I google "premium consumables wot" I get no results leading to official website. SO, i guess, term "premium" has been added by community for easier reference.

In-game mentioning of this discount says " ... using credits ... "

And I wanted to buy those _for_credits_

All right, I'm done!

The last ALL CONSUMABLES discount was at 26/05. So, minimum 2 month will be without it. (One of them with ***ing ranked battles).

I had 20m waiting for this.

Is this actually the first time with only "small stuff" discount?

And how ***ing cheap is this?

And why?

and riot

I'm a bit annoyed about this, too. I wanted to buy some cola for my ever lasting SPG-15-3 so I could put my arty on shelf at last... But no. It DOES say ALL consumables, yet, only the small consumables are on sale.

That must be a mistake either in the wording of the ad or in the game.

The overlay does say all consumables.  So I guess in the UK we have an advertising standards issue.

Actually Cola(which is "gold" consumable) is shown on picture, so why it is not available for half price?

it says "up to 50% discount".  That means max 50%....so 0% is technically within the description as it is not more than 50%.

They don't care about advertsing standards.

And the Dutch Consumer Authority appearantly didn't take action against WG for re-selling the M6A2E1 mutant.

Not serious enough.

This is even less serious of a problem. "It's an honest mistake gusy"

I remember an advertisement along the same lines. It was about tanks that time though.

"Up to 50%"  means it could be 1%, it could be 49%.   There was not a single tank for sale with a 50% discount though.

And no, package deals (garage, bunks, consumables, bonus XP/Credit tokens etc.) don't count... That's not a discount, it's a bonus. It's actually extra's you pay for.

Too bad that photobucket forces you to take a subscription to link to 3rd party sites.

Still have the pics of the "Up to 50% discount" fiasco.

Scamming bastardo's...  (See the first quote "It's an honest mistake, gusy...".....)

FUNNY THING THOUGH, is that the usuall suspects defended WG with a passion...

Buy consumables using 20k credits for each --> run out of money --> buy premium account and tanks --> everybody quit the game while WG gets some money

Thats called WG logic :)

Maybe they "just" forgot about it like couple months ago when there was supposed to be consumable discount.

It's neither fraud or a scam.  it is either poorly worded / illustrated or a mistake.  Just what language do you use for the stuff that is really wrong when you have wasted the good stuff on this trivia?
