Why make tanks less penetrable on player profile?

I guess the statement is that it certainly feels that some tanks are less penetrable according to the player profile or skill. In some games the tank feels useless against even crap tanks, but with either a good player or possibly a premium player. Even when you "know" you hit the tank in a weak spot, yet never register dmg. This feels the worst at weekends for me.

This MUST change in the game characteristics for two reasons:

1.) It pisses me off crazy and I am sure it does anyone else who has experienced it

2.) It makes the game appear fake, hence hearing a lot of people use the term "Pay to win" in the chatroom.

Not sure if anyone else experienced this, but for me it is the worst.

No it doesn't, because it doesn't happen.

What I suggest is you learn to aim better.

Oh and if you're talking about the "General Chat" in the garage. Thats a bunch of nonsense spoken in mostly by bot level or lower players who have zero clue as to how the game works. At all

This is true, because a good player will try and make sure that you have as difficult a time penetrating his armour as possible.

Yes, because lower skilled players don't know how to choose their shots as well as better skilled players do. This is no surprise.

2 reasons.

1. Better players will make weak spots harder to hit and angle armour correctly.

2. RNG on penetration. It just plain sucks. It leads to confusion and claims of broken game mechanics and mistrust. By confusion I mean it can leave you asking why you didn't penetrate a certain shot when perhaps the numbers say you probably would have.

You know, he might be onto something guys.

Just this afternoon I bounced several shells in my Type 95 Heavy tank.

No less than two shell from an enemy Chaffee, amongst other bounces.

Will provide replay if requested.

Just because the plate is 120mm thick, don't mean that 1: your pen will be above that if your pen is 148mm, as your pen can drop 25% lower of what you think it is. And 2: The bigger the impact angle, the more armor your round has to pen. As pointed out above, a good player will make damn sure you will have a hard time hitting it perfectly. As in never flat, dead on. Unless you hit an external module ofc you "think" is a weakspot. As that will do zero damage regardless.

Chatroom? Oh you used General chat? Yeah because that's full of players that knows the game right? It's usually full of tinfoil hat players that post stuff like you just did. As if they don't buy premium time, their WR goes down etc. Who uses that  chat seriously anyway?

I guess you are one of the people that PM's me after a battle and accuses me of cheating because I angle my tank and wiggle my turret?  I am an average player. I do not have an encyclopaedic knowledge or armour values etc. I do understand the use of angles and that tracks and well angled armour will cause non penetrations.

Instead of reading the drivel in general chat.  you could use your search engine of choice and look for guides and mechanics videos.  I will start you off:

Oh, look. A tomato claiming that the game is rigged against him.

This is totally new and totally not making me lose faith in mankind.

You could prove your point one way or another if you tried 'paying to win', but you wouldn't, win that is.

Only thing that feels rigged is when the derpy IS-3 drives out in front of you with his entire side exposed, only to watch your shots get sucked into his black hole BS side armor. :teethhappy:

While there is some truth in this thread, as many have pointed out, you are spouting UTTER BS, OP.

Great, another case of Apophenia,

OP, suggest you turn your reasoning up to 11 and dial back your "feeling".
