Simple idea- provide an option within game settings, that allows players to only play in zero artie battles! Then we will see just how popular artie is with the general playing grunt. Surely WG'in can come up with this as an option. I would select it in an instant. Especially since last big update, artie has become just pathetically op and is ruining the game. And mm shoving 3 in a battle!!. Three artie in a battle and you are in top tier heavy- wasting your time, splash splash splash splash splash dead......

Let them choose if there's heavies, lights, mediums or td's too.

Fair game.

1. Don't use words you don't understand. Arty neither is nor ever was OP.

2. Don't exaggerate or lie.

3. THINK before you write and elaborate your ideas - including possible impacts on the game.

4. Use the search function so that we don't have to read the same *Edited every week.

What about options for autoloaders?

And I don't like those big derp guns either.

Or how about tanks with the letter T in the name, can we opt out on those too?

You know, for those players that really hate the letter T.

Hear, hear!

I'd also like to point, I want everything I can't pen with T-44 autoaimed AP removed from the game or heavily nerfed. There's really NO REASON AT ALL for anything to have more than 180mm of effective armor in any angle because it's unfair for the errr... in many ways limited people!

They aren't OP, but the idea about letting players opt out is good.

Those saying "BUT HEVVIES TOO!!!!" should realize that artillery is very different than the other classes and should therefore be treated differently.

This new arty buff, made this line the biggest noob friendly line. And now we can talk how OP they become.

2x arty per match focusing one side, can now hold down whole [edited]15 tanks.

And combination with 5x LT and 2+ artys per side,is what we get in randoms. 2-3 min game with one sided matches.

WG destroyed ther game, thats why even with marathon rearly reach 120k players. And i rly hope this number will get mcuh lower, so that those balance dev, departmen lose ther jobs.

Autoloaders are different, too. So are big derpguns. And superheavy tanks. And...

So you'd rather have old arty, where you get shat on for 90% of your hitpoints and you have to fight the rest of the battle with 10% of HP and damaged ammo rack, because you don't have your repair kit anymore?

Count the whine threads of those you mention.

I bet if you put them all together, it wouldn't even be as many as arty whine threads.

That's reason enough to treat arty differently.

How many times have WG tried to fix heavies, autoloader s and derpguns in huge changepatches?

And how many times artillery?

Do you still think it's the same?

No it's not a good idea.

People who think arty don't belong in this game just want to play some other game, they just don't realize it yet.

You have 3 option to clearly express your opinion about artillery.

Option 1. You can quit.

If you think artillery is that big of a problem, then uninstall WoT and chose artillery as the reason for uninstall

Option 2. You can give constructive feedback.

This feedback can be based on objective observation supported statistics or subjective observation base on your opinion of the game.

Option 3. You can accept.

And just keep playing the game that WG made.

I have more battles than you, and apparently more forum knowledge too since I know it's just a display bug. Better luck next time with that argument.

He is giving his constructive feedback. It's not up to you to decide when it is constructive or not. WG already made 2 huge artillery passes based on feedback. I think making an opt out option is great. No compensation from WG, and artillery enthusiasts can click on each other in peace. Everybody wins.

As an SPG driver, I let my enemies decide whether they want to be hit by my barrage or not. Nowadays, and it was always like that really, if you were hit, you deserved to be hit. Goes for all shells, no matter which gun fired it or the platform it was attached to.

Personally, I think it would be far better if we could opt out of whining, mimimi, trolls and other lewd behaviour in all of WG's network but we don't see that happening, do we?

Here's a better suggestion: play WoT Blitz.

I rather enjoy the tears of butthurt crybabies. I pretty much read every teary eyed arty-whine thread there is.

Arty was fixed in 9.18 and that's that. I thoroughly enjoyed getting arty back to platoons, too. :)

Me too but it can get quite obnoxious some times.

I agree. SPG are fixed now. Just need maybe a little tune up on the splash but it might be better to leave things as it is to break it again.

Improved for both sides, arty players and their enemies alike? Yes, it's a massive improvement.

Fixed? No. Still quite a bit of balancing necessary.

Yes, he is giving constructive feedback. But the idea is flawed.

If we ignore the fact that option out feature would just be soft removal of artillery.

Then there is the option of fairness, I can use artillery against others, but I can make sure that artillery can not be use against me.

Then there's the conclusion that this is a tactical choice, you are limit the enemy you face with this choice.

In short, you making the game easier for you.

If you really want a artillery free option, then as for a new server cluster with out artillery.

Of course you have to start from scratch and buy all the premium tanks again.

But that should be a small sacrifice for you to be rid of artillery.

After all that what you are forcing players that play artillery primarily to do.
