Hello all!

When they announced 9.19 they mentioned that many people do not use Personal Reserves and have them accumulating in their garage.

I was a bit shocked they do not realise the reason yet... and was wondering why they do not fix it?

In my opinion all they have to do to fix personal reserves is have it that the time no longer counts down while logged out. Meaning it only remains active while logged in to the game and then goes on hold when you log out (with a delay to allow any unfinished battles to finish, e.g. 20 minutes after you log out).

If they did this I would for sure use my reserves all the time as often I simply do not know if I will play a few battles or end up playing for hours, so I simply never use reserves as I do not want to waste them on time while I am not even in the game!

Is this the same for you? If this is the majority reason, what can we do to get Wargaming to realise this is the issue and have them fix it!

The reserves are only like, what - 1/2/4 hours or something?  I think that's a reasonable set of times for average game time, no?  You're on for an hour then pop an hour long reserve.  Not many people play in such small slots do they?  i.e. less than an hour?

The main reason I don't pop them often (enough) is that I simply bloody forget they are even there!

So how many do you have accumulated?  Wouldn't it be better to get ten minutes use out of each one rather than get no use out of them as you are currently?

Yes they encourage you to play for the full two hours, that is the intention.  You do not have to be suckered into that though.

Yesteday QB did a mistake in activating reserves when he activated a wrong reserve,  he couldnt fix it until they expire so theres one option - To be able to cancel reserves.

Also *wears tinfoil hat * I heard a rumor that when you activate reserves mm-RNG  F***s you up

It would hit their income if they would not run when you are logged out. There are many players who play maybe 2 hours every week but they still have premium account running. If reserves would not run when you are logged out they would have reserves active almost 24/7 thus not as much need for premium time anymore. They do not want to allow those who play very rarely to have reserves activated all the time when they play. They want people who play 2 hours a day and people who play 20 minutes a day to have the same percentage of playtime under personal reserves.

This is how WG sees it ofc we players would enjoy it.

I used to just forget so I had 200 or so various ones stored up, but have been using them regularly the past many weeks and am about halfway through the stockpile. Its mostly a manner of planning, but also a bit of dedication. 2 hours is a significant amount of time in anyones regular day.

I wish there was a way to combine them or to use multiples of the same type. My problem is that I have tonnes of the 5% extra exp type lying around, kinda useless when you have a bunch of the100% extra exp to use.

They don't last an hour. Many times MM gives me a hard time and i have no motivation to play for 2 hours

Personal reserves are just that in reserve for when conditions are right.

1 a decent event with X3 4 5 XP and or X2 crew XP and so on.

Then I put on one or more personal reserves and either play the 2 or 3 tanks I am grinding to either elite them or unlock the next tank in the tier.

If I'm not doing that then I'm playing premium tanks to get even more Crew XP and Credits.

Yeah this. Mostly.

I do use them if I know I've got a couple of hours without interruptions. But this happens infrequently and normally work or family prohibit 2 hours straight play.

Best solution would be that the reserve timer only counts down while in battle. This would be ideal for me as quite often I am logged into garage for long periods while doing other things. I grab a game from time to time when I have a break. I wouldn't want to keep logging out to stop the timer.

I guess this may be harder for WG to code so maybe the simple option is to give out more 1 hour reserves rather than the default 2 hours.

During the recent crew event special I was constantly running the 300% crew XP + 100% XP ones. I also already have used most of the credit ones.

I don't know, they certainly hand out a lot of them if you complete the missions, but I'd say people don't activate them perhaps they think they won't play for 2 hours?

They're fine, we just need an increase of credit reserves more often.

When I can learn to not try too hard when they're running I'll use them (110)  :teethhappy:

I used plenty on Tvp vtu so I think I' currently somewhere close to 150 atm. As a person with family and early morning shifts I rarely get 2hr straight gameplay.

I sometimes activate them anyway since it seems they're easy to get nowadays.

And if I get frustrated, I'll just log out. It's not a biggie.

Don't take this in an insulting way but I am honestly curious, do you have a family? Just that you presume "not many people play in such small slots" I sometimes only have 15 minutes to play or times when I think I have 1 hour to 2 hours and suddenly only have 15 minutes to play.

If you are student or alone at home then yes, you would know when you go to play that you can play all night if you want. But if you have family that is never the case. You need to find time where you can and this is rarely in a solid block of 1-2 hours. 3 hours in one go? Forget about it.

Unless I am missing something, why should they allow multiple choice? You either use them or you don't. If you do use them then you either are happy with how they are or are not happy with how they are but use them anyway.

If you don't use them then there will only be a few reasons why you don't use them :P

You can't say you use them and at same time say you don't use them - unless I am missing something or need to add another option?
