...is max out the view range. All tiers, all classes apart from arty. Improved ventilation plus optics or binoculars plus 100% crew with relevant skills. You just cannot rely on somebody else always spotting for you, unless you just camp red line, which I rarely do. I don't want to be blind. The third equipment slot usually has the gun rammer. So I might sacrifice aiming accuracy (for example) for the sake spotting. Does this make sense?

Depends on the tank for me. I resently switched my T-54 ltwt setup to rammer/vents/optics for the reasons listed, while i dropped optics on my 121 for rammer/vertstab/gld in order to fix the gun handling issue.

It's really a matter of taste. I have seen ppl at tier 5 going for both optics & binocs just to abuse viewrange, so it is very tier-dependant what works best imho.

No, it really doesn't. Dropping vstab really is nothing more than handicapping your tank. Vents/optics is your choice but binos on anything besides tds is dumb.

T-54 ltwt has better gunhandling without vertstab than obj-140 with vertstab. I think it's worthwile to go for viewrange/dpm over extra gunhandling.

Binos works well on lowtiers, due to crappy viewrange. I saw a while back someone on the forum (could have been the NA forum) that 3-marked pz III/IV with optics/binos/vents, so it can clearly work.

edit: gunhandling between T-54 ltwt and 140 was only for turret rotation apparently, my bad.

I'm not talking about low tiers. They usually can't mount vstab and binos are viable just for seal clubbing new players with 50% crews.

About ltwt, I do think gun handling can never be Too good. With current baddish firepower of lts you need to hit every shot you can with minimal exposure time.

Personally i think lights need high viewrange, otherwize you might just as well play meds.

For binos i only meant for low tiers, due to OP asking for ALL tanks apart from arty.

I understand your point of view, but imho matter is much more simple - there is no point of playing lts at all :D

First thing I do with a new tank is go full yolo for at least a dozen battles, mostly to see what I can get away with. I'm sure my teams love me.

The first thin i do in a new tank. Hit battle get a same tier MM, and then i loose.

Honestly i had games where  i did  more damage then the whole team combined, lost. Actually if i think about it i don't think i won a single game  as the first game in any of my tanks.

No.

If I'm on your team, it doesn't make sense.

I'll be your spotter and won't die in the first two minutes. Without the scout MM, first 4 minutes of spotting are on the house.

Type in chat - ''I am stock, guys'' and then proceed to get verbally abused in broken English.

I always tell the player no problem, after all I now have the perfect player to blame my loss on.

Ofcourse it does make sence. Viewrange is never bad option.

I myselft tend to fix weak sides of vehicle or make strong ones even stronger so it depends what vehicle and what use of it. Mediums with solid camo are great for view range abuse, vehicles with bad gunhandling like HT usually needs vents to fix it.

But I played friends T6 Skoda 40 with 440 view range and its really great. Being able to outspot majority of enemies is simply awesome.

I always start by fitting repair kit, medkit and fire extinguisher and take it out in a battle. That way I can get the first impression on a clean tank and from there decided what to put on it.
I do have some standard fit to the different classes but they can change if the tank handling depends on it.

high view range and high cammo are the first thing to do on particular classes.
