I really like my OBJ 704 so far. But the problem is winrate, in 60 battles I have 39% winrate. While average damage is about 2300 per battle, and damage dealt/taken is 1.9, k/d is 2.01.

So can anyone give me any advice what do I need to do more? Do I need to make like 6-7k average per game to have like 55% winrate xD?

I am really tired of it. Any tips guys?

60 games is a fairly small sample size especially if you have played all of those games in one or two sessions.

Most likely you've just had bad luck.

All I can say is don't stress about the winrate and remember to take breaks from the game. Your WR will go up eventually.

Yep, stop worrying about numbers - if you enjoy playing it, that should be all that matters.:)

I have this problem that I concern myself too much with statistics even though I have only 8k battles, so I dont play that much because I get frustrated :(

I feel you. I've had the same problem. Bad games start stacking up and you feel like you need to cover them with good games to make it "neutral".

This makes you tryhard: You get too optimistic, you lose concentration and get frustrated very easily, making the problem even worse.

The key is to get out of this spiral as fast as possible by just forcing yourself to stop playing and trying again later when you're more calm.

However, being obsessed with stats can work for your favour as well on a good streak.

Nowdays I hardly play the game anymore so I don't really care that much.

2.3k is not amazing but it should be good enough for 50%+ WR....youre probably on a losing streak, i do 900 dpg in my Pz.Sfl.IVc grind and my winrate is 37% after 40 battles......just a cursed tank nothing more nothing less, same with Grille, finished grind after 60ish battles with 42% WR, now on Hummel like 58% winrate...totally random.

I'm having the exact same problem in the 704 with broadly similar stats in it. No matter how well a session is going as soon as I start playing the 704 I go on a losing streak. I think this is largely down to bad luck but its also fair to say that the 704 is a poor "carry" tank. It can do a lot of damage but I don't think it does it in a way that wins games. You are also very reliant on your team for support so that leaves you more at the mercy of your team than a good medium or heavy tank does.

I can't give you a lot of advice because I'm still not sure I'm playing it especially well, but what I'm concentrating on most is working around its limited arc, slow aim and poor traverse. The trick is to control the engagement by using terrain and team mates to keep the enemy limited to your front. This can mean keeping the enemy at range, but I'm also happy to go assault gun mode if there are narrow streets or corridors where I can't be flanked.

Since I started doing that I'm still losing a lot but at least feel I'm personally playing it better than I was.

2,3k is ok for a T9 TD.
But I suspect you should be more active and try for more early damage.
Like, you know enemy cäusually cross X part of map.
Set up your tank so you can get an early shot at that area.

The failure of many TD players stem from being ton passive and making their first shot when battle is all but lost. Which makes the damage they do irrelevant.

Strive for relevant damage, which is damage done as early as possible and damage done to cover your team mates from death.

Also, contest/support important areas. On Overlord, I would advocate the right side of the map. On Cliff, the high ground (ignore the 1-2 line) etc.

I have roughly 63% or 64% WR in my ISU-152, which should play fairly similar.

No matter what I do with the Object 704, I cannot bring it to even a 50% WR. I asked on the TD section of the forums for some advice. Here is my thread. I've not looked at others recently.

I am only averaging 1,992 damage in the Object 704, but my win rate in it is 53%. I suspect my low damage in it compared to yours is I am too aggressive with it. The 704 has useable angled armour and so can press forward in it. I expect that I over extend and die, but at least my spotting and assist help gain map control and thus wins.

I do that. I set ambush spots and then surprise them. But really it depends on map. If its city map I am generally more agressive there, and even try to push if top tier. On open maps I stay further away.

On my ISU I have almost 55%, and I camped at back way more on that tank...

don´t camp the shitout of your tank...

being passive will not make you win games, the best you can achieve are high dmg numbers after you let your team die misarably...

I can't really comment on the obj.704 except for fighting them. But in general i can only say that once you notice that you are having a loss streak (in a certain tank), just stop to play it. The mm gods are against you at that time and even though you get into a good mm you are probably tilted and throw the battle because of that and still lose.

Stop watching Quickybaby videos. He's the main reason kids grow up thinking WN8 it is important. It really isn't.

Same here OP.  I love the 704.  I have put permanent camo on it, emblems, everything.  But I am completely rubbish in it.  So sorry, can't help, but I thought you should know that you are not alone...
