Would it be hard to class separate the Hit Ratio in the Summary window?

When playing prim. TD´s etc it would go up, but when playing LT, SPG it goes rapidly down.

AFAIK it affect your Personal Rating?

It's a completely useless stat anyway, nobody with a brain cares about it.

What is it about the current obsession with the absolutely useless Personal Rating anyways?

Solo win rate and to a much much smaller degree wn8, are the only ratings that matter.

The amount of battles you have played also affect PR, if you want a good PR then why not just have a bot play a billion battles for you and be done with it.

I'm not sure why but my hit ratio on pretty much all my tanks evens out at around 70-75%. Doesn't matter if it's an accurate medium or a derpy heavy. I still don't really have an explanation for this other than the fact that I take more dodgy shots in accurate mediums.

EDIT: my highest hit ratio over a serious amount of battles seems to be 80% on the IS-7, lol.  #Stalin

EDIT 2: tied with the E-75 at 80%. Which I understand. But the IS-7 just baffles me because I take plenty of long range shots as well. Doesn't matter if I have a 10% chance to hit.

PR as a stat is completely useless.
Hitrate as a stat is completely useless.

To be honest, i wouldn't let any statistics concern you, just play for fun whilst of course doing your best, thats all i have to say :)

And how exactly do you know if you're doing your best?

Stats are a tool. And it's perfectly fine to use them as such. Just don't rub your private parts on them, people might find that weird.

Its one if those stats that shouldnt even be visible. Honestly, the amount if times I shoot at buildings in front of a tank so my team could shoot it is incredible. Never, ever let that stat concern you.

Thanks for the sober replies guys.

Im not a stat addict (I think) but after a long break I need to get back into shape, this is why Im keeping a look on my stats from time to time.

It just came to mind after a long streak with SPG games that I lost 1% in hit ratio :)

I am also curious as why this is actually a shown stat on the summary page, I often shoot into bushes where TD´s tend to camp, and same with arty.

Just wondered if I was the only one "annoyed" by this :)

That's because the Revolution spirit drive those bullets! :great:

Now... seriously it may be because IS-7 is a browler tank, and ususally it should be in medium to close range fight, where missing shots is very difficoult.

I use to have better accuracy on my HTs too, but that's because I'm parsimonious and hate to waste ammos. I can see my credit fly away every time I miss or ding... :teethhappy:

lets assume your target is a superheavy

hitting it is mostly no problem  but what  help was it if you shot it 10 times, hit it 10 times and did 0 damage total ?

a hit without pen is useless (except derp guns)
