For anyone in dispair about the direction of the game, dont worry, WG got your back: in a recent article WG is partnering with another company, and this is what they said:

As players, Viktor and I share the same passion about community – listen to them and their needs are our top priority when creating games

So dont worry, everything will be fine, WG is listening!

"listening to the players" is the main reason this game is going to crap, *Edited. if you have any doubt about that statement just play one random battle

Also each player thinks that WG should be listening to them.

I would rather they didn't.

Well, the problem is they are listening to players below 49%, people who know nothing about the game..

It's just as bad if they listen to players above 55%, people who know nothing about being an average pleb in the game.

there's not a lot of gifted players who started right away from 55%, most good players do know what it's like to be bad

A guy below 49% should still be listened if he has something meaningful to add. Just as a guy with over 55% who only yells "remove arty" isn't adding anything new.

Stats tell nothing about what's on people's minds.

Not that I expect people or WG to bother looking under the hood... I can tell that's too much effort for either party. But those derisive assumptions concerning lesser capable players sure are baseless.

Most of them did so under different conditions than today. Newer players for the most part did not know those conditions (more cover, camo more effective, for some even larger MM spreads, more arty, many different incarnations of arty, HE changes for conventional tanks).... it is not all apples and apples. Some of the older apples are now cider and others are just sour.

Well. Then game would be more balanced and all classes except Arty would be viable.

Also, tanks would require skill to perform good in.

I know it doesn't apply to all good players, but none of the major unicum English-language streamers have any idea what it is to be bad IMO. Or even average. They are too far removed from it both in terms of skill and circumstances.

I think most good players know what's like to be bad, because they had at least a short time of being bad themselves and doing dumb things. What most don't get at all though, is how people can stay at that level.

Tbh, that's kind of a dad horse anyway.

I'd support SPG removal if something was put in its place, like Call-ins. Would end most of the rants and introduce more content.

There are plenty of other armored vehicle classes that could be introduced in its place that could provide just as good or better support.

Good players can imagine the game for bad players, bad players cant imagine the game for good players.

And its WGs job to not blindly listen to feedback, they can make sure the game is good for each group. But they need true feedback for that. Bad player dont provide factual feedback.

I'm not so sure. Ever since I got my first tier five tank I've had a WR of 48%+ and I'm not a good player. I suspect that the same (or probably better) can be said for players who actually are good.

I somewhat doubt that.
