Mission 13, probably a dumb question, but what else would you expect

Does destroying a tank qualify as damaging it?

As long as you took HP off that tank leading to its destruction, that's what I think anyway.  I can't think of a situation in WoT where you can destroy a tank without damaging it.  I might be missing something obvious, do you have examples of this happening?

Maybe it is a linguistic/cultural issue, personally I interpret damaging as a mere reduction of item properties, but not their total removal/item elimination. When you  damage a tank, it can still take part in the battle, but when you destroy it then it is out. Perhaps I am nitpicking here, I remember being confused by Supreme packages being higher than Ultimate packages.

You've damaged it with 'extreme prejudice', but you could have left some hp for somebody else doing the mission, very selfish play.

then you would understand the Thai joke:

- an elevator with 12 people inside falls ten storeys and crashes, how many do you think are wounded?

- hmmm, dunno, all 12?

- none, because they all died

(yes, Thai humour is... peculiar)

I should definitely go to Thailand.

For the humour, if nothing else.

Fair enough, I see what you're saying.  In this context (at least for English) you can be 'damaged' to 'destruction'.  Damage can happen before the destruction and is not an either/or case.

Edited to add:  Fair play on your level of English.  I wish I had a second language ability even close to this. +1

Technically speaking, in WoT you can damage a tank or destroy it (which I think should count as damaging it). The third option would be to disable it (knock it out of commission) which I don't think you can do, at some point you could put the entire crew out of commission which counted for that affect.

If this mission works like the ones before, IMO you only need to hit five times for damage, the number of tanks hit should be irrelevant.

EDIT Just been in battle. I think it is five separate tanks you need to damage for this one.
