I have three decent Russian med crew (by decent I mean 3+ skills including BiA).

They are in my Obj 140, T-54 and Obj 416.

I had planned to put my T-54 crew in the T-62A if/when I get it and I imagine the 416 crew will go on up to the 430, if I ever get there.

So what do I do with the new 100% crew ?  Do I choose a "keeper", if so which one.

Or do I cross train them to another line ? I already have every Russian line on the go, so that just means another keeper, in which case, which one ?

I left one of them in the T34-85M so that i can bounce my T-54, Obj 140, and eventual T-62A crew between their tanks, the 85M and the Rudy.  The remaining 4 I'm not sure what to do with.  Personally I'm tempted to throw them into a re-bought T-34 (plus a new guy) so I can unlock the A-43 to Obj 430 line which was added after I got rid of the T-34.

As you already seem to have that covered I've got nothing.....

Given that only you know what tanks you like this is a exceedingly difficult question to answer actually.

T-34 definitely. Mean little tank and good crew trainer.

I've put the free crew in the barracks and using a mixture of T-34 and T54 crew in the 85M.

Just feed them to the other crews.

In the end they would just burn to death inside their tank, don't waste proteins.

I dismissed them.  They have no value to me.  I wouldn't try to run them at less than 100% in any other tanks, so I would just recruit another 100% crew as and when I need them.

Taking the opportunity to clear out my barracks.  I found I still had crewmen at the base 50% skill for my Tetrarch(!).  They'll have been sat there since the 2012 New year.

Hard to say without knowing which tanks and crews you have kept from both med lines, and if you commonly use gold to start new crews or not.

Presuming you'll use the tank to train your high tier russian med crews, you'll need at least one russian medium radio operator for the T-34-85M, so if you dont have one left over from T-28/T-34/T-34-85/A-43/A-44 then best not to train the one you got with the T-34-85M out of the med lines.

I'd probably move them to the T-28, use that as a training vehicle till they get some skills, then consider moving them on.

I assume they are not a Berlin-like crew?

No point in keeping them. It would be the same cost to train a new crew as to retrain them to another vehicle.

Not quite, retrained to a medium they would gain 90% skill for 20k credits as opposed to 75% for completely fresh cadets. A small difference, sure, but no reason to not take it.

Mine are going to be warming the barracks for the next many years, I suspect.

I would train for gold, so at least in my case it wouldn't matter

I have the regular T-34-85 and will be sharing the crew with the M. In time, I will get higher up the medium tiers, but I am not sure yet what that will be. I currently have the A-44 with the crew waiting from the A-43. I can't imagine keeping the A-44 from all that I have heard, so I won't need the M crew for the next tank either.

As noted, Credits will buy you 90% training for another Soviet med, so they are worth keeping if that is your thing. Technically, they are worth keeping for any Soviet vehicle as you will still get 80% on retraining. It's still better than 75%, unless you are short on bunks.

No, they have 100% main qualification, no skills or other bonuses.

I'm going to put mine in the T-34-85 once I've played a few more battles in the 85M. Radical, I know, but I haven't gone any higher in the Russian lines yet. :)
