Are you bored of stock grind like I am?. Do you think it would be good idea to remove stock grind entirely and instead make grind to other tank longer than it's now. For example you now need 80k to unlock tier 8, but this way you would need 150k (numbers are only example), but instead you get fully unlocked tank (no need to research guns, modules etc...). What do you think. Do you like this idea or not? Of course there is 0 chance of this ever happening but tell me what you think anyway.

normaly yes...because when you keep a tank you never use first modules (bad ones)...so imediately after you unlocked them become useless.

and its same thing...because to normal grind for next tank you must add xp for modules and when you do this, final xp number is much more than what you need for next tank anyway :) (tank xp + modules xp) only few tanks allow you to research next without unlocking modules first..

With your idea things will become simply easyer and wont increase xp costs...and i dont think WG will ever do this

Thats why I posted that there is 0 chance of this happening. So what I usually do is spend money to convert xp, and this is exactly what WG wants.

I wonder how long some wot players would stay in business if they really ran a business the way they want WG to run their business...

You would make free exp (and spending gold to convert it) pointless apart from skipping entire tanks.

So you do just what WG wants you to do, but you still expect that they will change their business policy?

I did, and im teling you its stupid to expect change when so many players do "what WG wants from them to do".... Its simple as that...

That "change" needs investment in money, time and people, and why to invest in that change when it "work as intended" as it is now?

You wroted that you dont think they will change grinding system, yet you still open new topic about it and wroted what you think how they should change it... Its like with "premium ammo", nobody expect change, yet always someone starts topic about they thinking how it should work...  I think curent grind system is ok... You invest time, or you invest money on "free XP" to grind tanks... With some tanks investing time can be pain in the as*, but hey, its free....

You need to understand why stock grind exists.  WG want you to pay gold to convert free XP to get past the stock suspension,  engine gun etc etc.  It is also why even the stock suspension exists.  People's frustration at stock tanks is one of the ways WG makes money.  WG making money is why the game even exists.

How can you not be aware of this?

Or play (& win) enough games to save up plenty of free XP to skip the stock grind and purchase all the top equipment. There are personal reserves for extra free XP.....

I think you just want to be cheap. Time or money, pick one which you want to invest into the game.

I am quite sure they make enough without this already.

No.  I just understand how WoT makes money.  Since this game went live there have been people coming to this forum with suggestions like yours.  Six years.  How many are successful do you think?

Some people can't see when others are doing them a favour.  You're wasting your time.

Nobody enjoys bloody stock grinds. But WG wants you to suffer or, ideally, spen money to skip them.

Personally I think it´s pretty poor design "play the shittiest part of our game or pay", but thats how WG rolls.

It's how fremium rolls, not just WG - some f2p are far more cynical than WoT - Neverwinter, I'm looking at you :)

I think it was Dungeon Keeper that was so bad it that aspect that they were told to stop advertising it as a free-to-play game.

I don't doubt it, I could only go with my own experience and NW seemed to take the biscuit for me :)

The stock grind (added to the need to retrain crew or train another crew) is what's stopped me from grinding at all.

My problem is simple.  I have some tanks I like which are either elite or premium and they have good crews.  Going back to tanks that don't have all the modules unlocked or a below par crew is too painful so I don't bother.  Case in point.  I wanted to play the E50M and T57 heavy.  I'm currently on the Panther II and T69 and the thought of taking an under equipped E50M or T54E1 against mostly Tier X tanks that are fully equipped with good crews and driven by good players just means I don't bother.

So I stick to my 'keeper' tanks which means the tech tree and additions to it mean literally nothing to me.
