You'll need to edit the configuration files. They're text files that end in .xc, usually found in a folder called something like config under res_mods. You'll need to use a proper text editor like Notepad++. Dredging my memory, I believe the correct file for what you want is hitlog.xc but that's only if you're using the default XVM build. Other XVM packs may use a single combined configuration file.

Yes I disabled many things through config, but couldn't find how to disable this, and btw you dont need notepad ++, use regular and it works

why?

1) Many of the most used features have been incorporated into the vanilla game client

2) XVM is a bugger to fully remove. This especially becomes a problem if you ever want multiple copies of the game installed. Perhaps a niche concern, but it pissed me right off.

3) IMHO most players (not making any judgements on how good you are as a player OP, not looked it up, not planning to either) would be better if they spent less time looking at what colour someone was in XVM and more time looking at the minimap. The game client already provides a lot of info that most people don't use properly, so providing yet more info for people to misuse is probably not helpful.

4) I don't think using it and seeing how good your team is compared with the enemy team puts you in a good mindset at the start of the match.

5) WN8 is rather buggered at the moment, making this feature of XVM even less useful.

You're probably right, I dont know I just like to see people's wn8 and I never judge anyone at the start of the game

Fair enough, as I said the choice is of course yours.

I've used Windows Notepad before and it's left control characters in the file which screwed up the parsing, that's why I recommend using a proper text editor.

Edit battleLabelsTemplates.xc and set hitlogBody to enabled:false
