Yes. I felt that climbing on map on hills is lame and selfish and only ones who used it are those who farm wn8.

Finally. 

 

Climbing was too broken in the current form. I could support a more balanced approach, however. Easing up the corridors a bit isn't a bad idea, and there sure is a lot of unused space around.

 

They did forget Redshire, though, and I do wonder where they put invisible walls on El Halluf. Never noticed any climbers there... maybe it's to prevent arty from taking a bath? :D

Excellent. Boosting is very bad for the game, removal of the boost spots alone makes the patch pretty damn good IMO

1. Karellia - Good thing. They were not to gamebreaking but still kinda stupid
2. Steppes - Great. While not realy of importance in randoms it made "skirmishes" really stupid.

3. Lakeville - Yeah there are climbs but they are hardly worth the time.
4. Abbey - Climbs which hardly break the map at all. Any tank could have done these climbs. Not like that it matters. The map itself is stupid and should have been removed ages ago.
5. Mines - Good that its gone but it had hardly any impact on randoms.

6. Sacred Valley - Trash map with and without the climb. The map itself should just be removed. But oh well better start small than not at all. One of the most stupid climbs gone.
7. Mountain Pass - Great. Finally randoms without the clowns climbing. Makes the map a lot worse for Stronghold battles though.
8. El Halluf - That one climb is very powerfull but I have not see it being used once in randoms.
9. Arctic Region - Well most of the climbs had a major negative impact. Yet again. An absolutly trash map. Removing the map alltogether would have been the better and appropriate move.

 

So why has Fjords not been fixed. It offers one of the most rediculous climbs. That needs adressing over the other maps.

While I don't consider boosts a bad thing as a whole, I do hate them in randoms.

For [edited]sake, I hate when 2 [edited]boost up on some defensive location, watch whole team die so they can fire from their precious boost.

More or less happy about it.
Another thing where the devs had to put a stop to because the playerbase overdid it again.

Honestly I don't mind the majority of climbs. It's the mindset of the players that do the climbs that enrage me.

 

brb let me camp on my climb and draw a game out (that happened me yesterday in a 7v1 game that was won, but it wasn't, since climbing is a thing

Most of those maps it's a minor nuance them game breaking. On others like Mines it helps less usually when people use it. As 8 out 10 die before they get up.

 

Scared valley was the only one I wanted them to fix asap.

I'm happy about this, but it doesn't include that imbalanced climb the western spawn gets on Fjords and that is the one that gives me the most indigestion.

What is the El-Halluf climb? Which square on map?

 

Fjords has some for the right side team at the top corridor and at the small lake or above it. Are those the one you think about? Or are there more?

 

Left has 1 to up the big mountain close to lake aswell. But that one never seems to work  when someone goes there.

I would say that the defensive climb on Sacred Valley that the top right spawn can make is game breaking.
