Hi all,

I have ran a speed test on my internet and nothing wrong with it. Has anyone else been experiencing a lot of lag over the last few days. It's not terrible lag but enough to make gameplay difficult at times.

regards,

Bastogne

No lag here, try a pingplotter to the eu1/2 login.

Been happening with me since yesterday. Restarted the router but no luck.

Tank will move more than needed or will not move at all. Same with shots as well.

Edit: Just did PingPlotter and it seems to be an ISP issue. *Sky* to be specific. May be others who are on the same ISP can share their experience.

Ping is at 30 yet chat messages take more than a second to show and shots lag.
Definitely not on my end.

I did experience audio lag during plays and frequent server disconnects. Yes, something is going on.

I play at EU1. I don't suffer any lags really. Ping stays between 20 - 60 ms. However during the countdown the ping counter shows me very high ping, like 500ms or 800ms, but it drops back to the normal values right after the battle starts. Odd. :amazed:

That would explain things for me (as an other Sky internet customer).  I had assumed it was the wife doing some shopping in ultra-HD or something.

Things were quite laggy and ping was double what it usually would be (50-60 instead of 25-30) with a couple of noticeable spikes a minute.

Sadly, yes.

(Might be the weekend overload effect?)

I'm in France, on Numéricable, and I am experiencing the same stuff as described above. So if Sky has its limits, it is clearly not the only problem around.

Laggy for me in UK in the evenings (Virgin not Sky).  Getting input delay - tank doesn't turn then over turns when it catches up.  All okay until servers get busy.

I think I always have lag, but tonight (I am using server side reticle) my sights are not just bouncing about, they are literally teleporting... :(

Same since Saturday night, Sunday night and Monday night very laggy, tank not stopping when u release keys, tank not turning on single key press, tank moving forward more than you want, shots not firing when you click. I'm on UK ISP, not SKY. Tried all the tests and ping is fine its these random lag events. ever had a problem before only this weekend.

Speedtest.net typically connects to <insert large city near you>.

Pingplotter screenshots are better suited for suggesting errors, or even putting down your location.

There are at least three people in this thread that are in the UK, and at least one clanmember that mentioned it. Probably some overloaded node near the channel. Had a similar issue during most of 2014; EU2 turned out unplayable because some node was working overtime all day.

Yeah Ive noticed quite a bit of lag tonight.
If was fine yesterday but today its jumping around like a jack rabbit and made no changes to my network or computer and I dont have a router to reset

Speedtest says my ping is 11ms which is about a quarter of what Im getting connecting to the WoT game server

according to wireshark there is a problem on ae15-2029.fra30.core-backbone.com
