Could this "feature" get a toggle switch already? I don't like it when a unwanted "feature" drags my aim up to the skies right as I pull the trigger. Or keeps yoinking it as I'm trying to aim on a target that I can hit if it just would stop yoinking my aim around.

Pretty sure it is an option, although I dont see your problem?

Possibly means aiming at tanks that on a ridge?  If so, I would love for an option/key that removes the automatic height compensator and have a manual option.  Would make leading tanks on a ridge a lot more feasible.

There is a mod that lets you 'lock in' distance for e.g. leading shots against the sky - BalCalcMod. As always, no idea how legal it is or will be, but last time I checked it was included in Aslain's pack.

I used it in the past, but like most mods it's hardly worth the bother to install it.

Would be good. Often when pre aiming at a 'spot' my reticule will stay put but server side will be up and down like a fiddler's elbow making it darn difficult, mind u when target does appear it will lock on. Only happens on some tanks, IKV 103 being the worst.

Is it because it has howitzer style gun? dunno:)

It's a complete mystery to me why they even decided to dumb down the game that much by automating the height adjustments...
Maybe their aim always was creating a game for the dumb masses.

It isn't an option, or at least if it is, you would make a lot of people happy letting us all know where the setting for it is.

btw: I'd be completely AGAINST making it an option. That's a very bad idea. Either remove it completely, or keep the current mechanic.
