...when the game is totally, hopelessly lost, the enemy has big numerical advantage, they are capping, and only you can make it back in time, but it is clearly not going to make any difference, you'd just get yourself killed for at best temporary reset, but more likely nothing at all. Do you zombie your way into the cap circle anyway, because this is your duty, or do you hit the breaks and comfort yourself with a lost but at least survived game?

Why would I care to hide and survive, it is only a pixel tank and some virtual credits at stake, credits which by the way I will get back when I manage to reset and do damage. The tank I get back after the game.

So what would be the point hiding behind a wall or in a bush to avoid the game from being over one minute sooner, given that suicide is never an option for me, no matter how bad things look.

Just try to win - if that means decapping and getting deaded then oh well. I've seen enough weird crap happen to know that it's never over in this game until the results screen comes up. Nothing worse than waiting for your tank to come out of a battle while some numpty hides in a bush to try and survive and save a few credits. Also, like Rataplan, getting killed and taking a chance to get off at least one more shot is always better than suiciding.

Surviving a lost battle is not worth anything.

I will however draw if possible when the enemy have spend 14 mins camping their base - as i dont think they deserve victory in that case.

Let us clarify: Kolobanov is not in the equation, I mean a totally hopeless situation. One where you need to drive across open area into five guns that are waiting for you from the only direction you can possibly approach, one where you need to pick fight with three tanks that you cannot penetrate, and even if you, by some miracle, managed to reset, your remaining allies will lose the game anyway. One that I just had: driving a Panther with 200 hp remaining, I could only drive through half the map that was dotted with "last seen here" red markers, with three remaining allies doing nothing somewhere entirely elsewhere. I chose to zombie in, as I always do, straight into the E50 that I knew was exactly on the shortest path; his allies were not quick enough to show up before the inevitable end. And as I always do after this, I wondered what was the point; could have as well saved a little from the repair bill.

I'm generally in our base camping from the start anyways, so it's a no brianer.

Deal as much damage as possible before the cap ends.

Where is the option of still winning the game because you are one of those warpack unicum things I keep hearing about?

In these kind of situations the best thing to do is to farm as much as possible damage.

Saying to my team that they are "total noobs and losers, why not defending the base?".

In that time, I "camp" in the bush and waiting what will happen next...

It's always funny if you take out a couple of tanks and see the enemy panic when they start to doubt the win is in the bag, rarely turn it into a win but "it's better to burn out than to fade away" and damage is damage
