Running the risk of creating another anime thread, yes I do. I listen to A LOT of night core and Japanese music. Most Western songs are about drugs, alcohol and intercourse. Too repetitive IMO and I've been trying to learn the language, so... Reasons.

It depends on the game, there are some games I play with the in-game music, other games I play without music but also games where I just play music from youtube.

For example, in Final Fantasy XIV I listen to the in-game music. In World of Tanks to youtube and in Rainbow Six Siege to no music.

Final Fantasy simply has amazing music that pulls you into the game. WoT doesn't really have this and is more for some mindless "fun", so youtube it is.

And Siege, well, competitive shooter, music would be too distracting.

Not commonly no, if I do it's probably the OST Of some game like Halo 2 or Halo 3: ODST For example rather than any specific songs.

Sometimes rautemusik.fm trap, most of the time nothing out of world of tanks itself.

It's your own fault that you are searching for english pop. Try other European languages.

Something about sports:

"Olympics"

"On bicycle"

Since we are already talking about transport:

"Kiev subway"

Maybe something political?

"Growth above all"

And there are always dutch, with topics truly important for every living being:

"Where's the toilet?"

Does autistic screeching from TS count as music?

I'll often listen to something in the background when I'm playing Tanks or Boats, what depends on how I feel though it's usually something like trance, 80/90s music or some classical. I really enjoy lots of flavours of metal but find it too much when I'm trying to play a game and enjoy the song.

I don't listen to music when playing most other games, usually because there's either some narrative I need to follow or sound is a key part of playing the game, e.g. Rainbow 6 Siege.

I usually listen to music I got running in the background; various genres from traditional/folk music to religious chants to Girls und Panzer OST to neo-classical & j-pop.

I don't listen to music when playing. I even turn down in game background music when possible.

Wow, so that new live action Ghost in the Shell film managed to do everything worse than the original and its remake, including the soundtrack.

Also, ᠾᠥᠥᠯᠢᠢᠨ ᡂᠬᠥᠷ (Hooliin Chor) is amazing.

You could check out ᠾᠦᠦᠨ ᠾᠦᠦᠷᠲᠦ (Huun Huur-Tu) if you like it.
