Fun fact: Pudel is the first tank in WoT that has Zimmerit. (As far as I know)

So there you have it, from Wikipedia ... (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zimmerit)

Block Quote

It was used to produce a hard layer covering the metal armor of the vehicle, providing enough separation that magnetically attached anti-tank mines would fail to stick to the vehicle.

Zimmerit was often left off late-war vehicles due to the unfounded concern that it could catch fire when hit.

So that explains why the Poodle catches fire so often.

And it gives you an early warning that WG are about to introduce magnetic mines to the game.  (I wonder if arty will be able to fire them )

True facts about the PUDEL (taken from an entry in the German sub forum):

- a Panther Ausf. G was not captured by PL soldiers, but by partisans during Warsaw Uprising 2nd August 1944.

- three panthers have been attacked: one burned out completly due to Molotov cocktails, 2nd was damaged due to a grenade, but the third was stopped by a grenade and was taken over eventually (which is now the "Pudel")

- 8th August 1944 this Pudel was damaged by either a Pz IV H or JP 38T during its first duty

- after fixing it the Pudel crew managed to take out a terrain machine gun position and one SdkFz 263 on 10th August 1944.

- on 11th August 1944 the Pudel was damaged heavily and the PL crew left it - game over.

Taken together: Witin 9 days two crews did not manage to do anything useful with it. WHY is it now considered as PL premium? Poland did not have any tanks after 1939.

This is still more than what I usually manage to do... maybe I need this Pudel?..

I trust Wargaming on many things but new premium tanks before the tech tree is announced nope not at all.

Type VI heavy useless crew trainer

Strv M/42-57 alt A.2 again pretty much useless for crew training.

Not going to fall for it this time premium tanks do not always have to have the same crew layout as the standard tanks but its much better if they do.

Its ok to have an extra crew member but being unable to train an entire crew is a little pointless and short sighted on their part especially if there are no alternative premium tanks.you can use.

So ill wait for the line to be announced in full check the crew layouts then decide, berlin style crew is interesting and it probably means after this offering the next time we see the Pudel for sale will be when the Polish line arrives.

Also means it will never be on sale for gold.

I got caught out like that twice, got chi-nu-kai - techtreecrap - su-122-44 and su 85I have a different radio operator (1 is the commander and other is the loader) :sceptic:

as for the tank, after 2 yrs away i'm tempted :coin: as it's a premium panther and i did like the vk 3002m

but €15 is a little more than i'd want to spend

Get your hands on the very first vehicle to fight under the Polish banner!

Not sure if it's intentional, but if it is hats off: Let Poles celebrate 1944 uprising by buying German tank from Russian* company. Given that WWII started with both countries invading Poland, this is an amazing joke :-)

Well im not gonna go into specs or what is good or not.... been Reading awhile now and no one is eaven reacting......

so i just have to do it... i mean its like putting the ball on line and waiting to hit it....

they name the first tank for polen after a small curly dog with no stamina or bite .... basicly a knee dog...???

PUDEL..... whahahahhah.... i mean really.... who took that name and didnt google it first.....

Really you could have chosen a somewhat more cool name ... eaven numbers with a digit to it would have been better....

And to make it worse to make a "pudel" means you change the way you have said and actced Before because you want to follow the wind  where it blows after you made the previous statement....

Naaah not a great choice of name...

:)

This is the the real historical importance of Pudel, and of the poland tree of course:

"Polish Armored Fighting Vehicles of the Warsaw Uprising

German Panzerkampfwagen V Panther
Two tanks were captured on August 2nd in Wola district.

Both were pressed into service by "Radoslaw" Group.
One was nicknamed "Pudel" / "Magda".
One was lost on August 8th and second on August 11th."

Ufficial documentes dont tell, but is seems that saw the lost of tank so fast, allied force sended a message with a single word. They wrote:

"Noooooobs!"

You buy an polish tank named Pudel. The crew commander should be named poodle. Just kurwaaa all the time, tier 6 battles are now infected with "poodles", and we are shooting shells instead of bones, I think that bones will make more harm to these tier6 "poodles" than shells.
