Along with the latter rebalancing, bufs, nerfes and tier swaps (LTs for example), vehicle statistics (under in-game Service Record) completely lost its initial purpose in terms of objectiveness and requires to be reworked. Also, it would be useful to implement statistics of a scale of, lets say, last 100/500/1000 battles played on a particular vehicle. This could be much appreciated by clan and e-sports community. IMHO. What do you think?

Yeh, good idea. People will be able to see that I used to be bad back in the days and that now, I'm..... pretty much the same :P

But in all seriousness: I think it's a good idea. It'll indeed show clan recruiters how somebody has been performing in a particular tank recently.

Good idea. And I'd like to see top spotting, stunned and tracked damage as well.

I think there should be just one default tank stat:

the Coolness Index on a scale of 100 IQ points.

What's the point of listing stats for the last 100 battles on a tank if the last battle was played 3 years ago? If you want "recent" stats you have to actually look at recent battles (say of the last 3-6 months), not some arbitrary number of battles. That way you'd also see what tanks people actively play or grind through. Which is probably one reason why WG won't implement such a feature, at least not for the public API.

Good idea, but time scale alone is pretty useless indicator either. There is no point of using time as a measure when it will avg for example my 12 battles I've played in last 6 months. So the time and a number of battles played combined would add much more sense to it. There is no reason to think WG has an intention to hide what people are grinding through since there are multiple ways of discovering it both with and without API, lol...

Well, if people see you only played a couple battles in a given tank in said time period they could still check your overall stats in that tank. But stats that are more than 6 months old are IMO worthless to evaluate the current potential, as that timeframe usually includes at least two major patches. And even if the tank in question wasn't touched directly, addition of new tanks, general rebalancing and other changes (e.g. MM) will affect the performance.

There is: The in_garage flag for checking player vehicles in the API is considered a private field (only available with access token / login), so WG apparently doesn't want stat sites to check what vehicles a player has in his garage. The current grind projects are a subset of that data, so there is no reason to assume that WG would want to make that info publicly available.

But you got me curious: how do you check what tanks someone is grinding without monitoring him over time? At the very least you'd need two snapshots of per-vehicle battlecounts to compare. Can you tell what tanks I'm grinding recently?

"Recently" you've been most active with these tanks (100+ battles):

WZ-111 model 1-4

AMX 30 1er prototype

VK 45.02 (P) Ausf. B

G.W. Tiger

T54E1

M40/M43

AMX AC mle. 48

Lorraine 155 mle. 51

Indeed, like you said, you have to have a login session in order to check what vehicles are currently in players garage, but that's it! Other than that is publicly accessible, for ex., every tank you've played at least once, what tanks have been played in a given time scale or even if you are having an active session (playing tanks at the moment), not to mention what has been your performance on a particular tank (avg dmg, win8, etc).

What I'm talking about is a Russian project called KTTC with its english version play4stats.com - I think they have somewhat extended access to WOT's API compared to other similar stat services, but that's not for sure.

Nice try, but mostly missed, sorry. Haven't touched the E1 or the AMX30 for months, and actually sold the AC48 quite a while ago. You're right about the Wz and the GW Tiger, and somewhat about the VK, but also missed quite a few of my current grind projects (Obj430-II, Leo, IKV, Jackson, O-Ni, Foch, T9 Lights and likely a few more depending on the timeframe you're looking at).

As I mentioned, I chose only those tanks that have been played for more than 100 battles (90>Obj430-II, Leo, IKV, Jackson, O-Ni) from your last 5000 battles you've played since the very beginning of 2017 (todays 25 battles are not included). My bad about AC48 - I had the date about Foch, but wasn't accurate. Anyhow, the point is - if one is interested, he can then find out pretty much of what you are up to recently and you wont be able to hide it.

Back to topic - I would love to see such implementation, whats so ever.

He is right... I know that Marchello drove his t49 on El Haluf yesterday, and got reckt by enemy, because of pushing friendly scout several times.

You just need to look into the stats.

Boy, trust me, don't share your wet dream experience here, it just wont work on me. I'm too old for your pokemon rant and troll. I'm aware that internet is a great place for boys like you to stress out, but let me suggest you one better way - get off your screen and empty your balls (this time with a girl for a difference) ;]
