Met this fella in battle and he owned me totally. I went to check out his stats afterwards and was amused. Here is his tank played:

OK so displays the garage you would expect of a new reroll.

Please guestimate his WN8 before clicking here, you might be surprised:

Spoiler

This is the part where it annoys me most that premium shops "any amount of gold" does not start from one gold coin....

I had a friend who was a 43% player and he was seriously considering rerolling because of his bad stats.

So I asked him if his recents were any better and they were not. I was able to convince him there's nothing bad in being a tomato. It'll be arty cover for a long long time even if he ever learns to play properly. Which he so far hasn't. But at least he still got his batchat 25t with 30% wins. :D

I would be surprised if he is a reroll.

Imagine this scenario ...

Old guy, doesn't go on forums or read anything on the internet very much, see "free to play" game and installs it, plays a few games and sees "Mutz" for sale.  Falls for the sales pitch and assumes that if its that expensive it must be better, so buys it.  Likes the Mutz as it looks more like a proper WW2 tank, unlike the Tier 1s he played before.  Struggles with Mutz and so goes back to advert to see what the point of premium tanks are.  Thinks the idea is to earn/buy Free XP.  Decides to Free XP another German Medium, the "Panther" that he has some affection for (perhaps seen it in a film/book).  Plays that a lot and eventually gets the Panther 2.  Sees an advert for the Skorpion G and decides to get that as Tier 8 German tanks are so cool.  Still has no clue how to play the game but likes the graphics and sound effects.

This seems more likely than a 200 WN8 player re-rolling his account.

I introduced a (former) co-worker to World of Tanks about a year ago after he sees me playing it during breaks.

Now 7k battles further and he is still struggling to grasping the game mechanics. In fact i saw him this week and i had to explain him the importance of crew skills. His response was similar to explaining to someone that the world isn't flat while providing the supporting evidence: mind blown and confused.

Assumption is the mother of all mistakes. Do not assume everyone playing this game actually proactively wants to get better! Some really just like the game concept of Tanks vs Tanks. The intricate detail of game mechanics etc is completely lost to them as well how and where to find those information to become better.

Also from former clan mates i noticed some of them actually made special account (with premium tanks and gold) so to let their (little) kids play. "Daddy! I want that tank too you are playing with now!". I guess the money spend on it was worth it for them to keep the kids quiet for a few hours!

But my question to you all is: Why are some of you so worked up about re-roll accounts?

That's why that tank plus several others in tier 8,9 and 10 are getting a turret buff.

Eh? honestly i bemoan the lack of lucidity in your posts. I've even gone so far to check some of your recent posts to ascertain whether you are just struggling to grasp English. I think so and perhaps you should stick to your mother tongue until such time that you can post remarks folks understand.

Anyway i was trying to lighten the mood of this forum and, perhaps, show folks that everyone that looks like a reroll isn't necessarily one.

Why did you bother posting a picture of someone's else account??? Can't you mind your own business and let him do whatever he wants??? Did you pay for his Mutz or his Skorpion??? and yes, the post is completely useless.

So you're saying... a 200 WN8 pwned you? OK... It happened worse for me to be honest, though I really can't remember.

And why is it a problem that he rerolled?

I believe that the implication is that despite initial experiences and impressions the player was not a reroll.
