Would it not be wiser to do so sober? I can think of a couple cons off the top of my head.

I ask because I've noticed the amount of threads where posters indicate this has been increasing.

It makes the game more enjoyable and I don't know about anyone else but I play better when I'm drunk, not getting annoyed at things lets me chill and I nearly always play better that way.

I was never drunk so I have a difficult time how can that improve one's gameplay (I would guess it does wonders for one's mood though). So... How does that improve your gameplay? Isn't alcohol pretty much a retardant?

OK... But the question was why?

You always have to keep the right alcohol for the match:

  • French - Wine
  • Russian - Vodka
  • USA - Scotch
  • British - Gin
  • German - Schnapps
  • Japanese - Sake
  • Chinese - A fake, cheap copy of any of the above

It works like charm :hiding:

Are you really asking why people do anything when they are drunk? You won't even get a solid reply as to why if you ask them when they are drunk ,on why he is there playing. It's like asking them why they put their underwear in their head and rand down the street screaming when they were drunk. Just be glad they are home, and not outside.

Most just toss on food when they get home in the oven "that they will instantly forget about", and go for the TV or PC. Last time I got home drunk.. I fired up Forza Horizon 3 and went on a joy ride online. No idea why. I just did.... Going by all the screens and video clips I found on my Xbox the morning after that is.

Also if the Police would stop your tank to check your breath, you can drive over their car and they will ding with handguns! :playing:

Don't worry. There's a underlying undisclosed motive as to why I am asking this.

Playing tanks is arguably more fun when drinking. It doesn't make me play (much) worse and it makes me play more. Rather useful for powergrinding tanks if you ask me.

Drinking leads to less frustration, which leads to more fun. Alas, I don't drink much, and a month of premium account is cheaper than a sixpack of shitty beer (and can be enjoyed even in the daytime).

Hi!

>  Why do some people play the game while drunk?

Maybe the only way they can stand the chore? ;)

But I can't answer your pool. I was newer drunk when playing WoT. OTOH tipsy, o yeah that I was. :teethhappy:

Wait.

People play sober?

I find this hard to believe, particularly for low-tier randoms.

I agree, which is why I play on NA-servers after a certain time on Friday and Saturday. I never play while intoxicated, I've tried that a long long time ago in other games and I did not know which way was up just as I would not know how to keep the car straight if I was driving under the influence (which I would never do anyway). Used to play with friends, meet up locally with computers and play in the same room, and they got intoxicated and I was sober and they thought they were so great at their games but from my perspective they just messed about and not quite "got the objectives" so to speak. They themselves did have a good time though, so that was something I guess, but I just stopped playing with them after a short while and went back to solo. In the end, to each their own.

Some play too drunk, some too stoned others too tired. It happens. On Friday go for some drinks after work and then some more. Then come home and play some tanks because why not. Then platoon in pz 1Cs shooting only skammo. Hangover was not to bad but the credit balance made me cry.

Last night I platooned with my old pals who were online, had couple of games sober, then moved to drink tequila. After 1,5 bottles the only thing I remember from the last battle, was that I saw everything in double and I had moved to sit on the floor.

Although our wr was abysmal (I play better solo) we had great time and big laughs.

And that's playing for fun.
