Hi.

It shouldnt matter since om not a very good player. But i look at the WN 8 i have at different webpages. WotStats.org sais 1497 WN 8 Wotlabs sais 1498  Noobmeeter sais 1500.

But in the game Xvm tells me 1454 WN 8.

Why is it lower in the game than on the websites?

I also wonder why its so slow to raise your Wn8, i normally have over 2000 Wn 8 every day, but Wn 8 only raises maby 1 or 2 every update.

Any of you guys know?

It's 75% nonsense anyway (I measured it)

it's pointless now - rush rating is the new metric

The small differences may be down to the timing that the websites complete their data updates but some have started to use modified expected damage tables.  XVM use an old version (V29.1) which they tweak themselves & no one else uses.  Unlike Wotlabs V30/31. it still has different expected values for the same tier/class of tank but it also omits some tanks like the Strv S1 and some of the other new tanks so gives no credit for playing them.

2K gives you a 500 delta from your overall average - with 59K games it will take a long time to have a significant impact on the overall average.

XVM refused to implement the latest WN8 update, v30, that only has expected values for a tank type and tier (meaning inaccurate, strong OP tanks get higher WN8, weaker tanks get lower WN8). They are keeping the old per-tank values, that rewarded players who mastered tanks that were considered weak compared to their peers.

Unfortunately this also means XVM WN8 does take into account games with new tanks, since there are no per-tank expected values for them.

Because in-game XVM still uses the old and actually good metric for wn8 when every tank had it's own damage value but now websites show the new metric which same tier same type of tanks have same damage value (example T57 and IS-7 damage value is same now)
